Not only VDH continues to be the best tank with difference, it closes competitor, prot Pally from S3 became weaker due to its S1 tier set since it was not scaled to be stronger like blizzard said it would (Bdk, surv hunter anyone?)
Also Equinox once again single-handly nerfed Brew just by existing.
Frost has always been good, people were just sleeping on it — and everyone else that didn’t play just told they’re friends “fRoSt is EaSy jUst PlaY tHaT” despite being one of the most difficult classiest to manage and time CDs.
the way i see it monk does good dps but is dead 90% of the time so that still make pally the best
Curious when ww will get a buff to their 4 piece. My 2+2 still outperforms 4 piece by 5%. Until I finally get my myth track helmet I don‘t see myself changing.

I think the hpal problem has to do with scaling. As our item level increases, so do our tooltip numbers. Hpals tooltip numbers however cannot keep up with the increase in total HP, aka the increase in ilvl. For example, my 512 hpals main ability, Holy shock currently heals for 30k, and 115k once it crits, while the total hp of a character is around 1.2-1.4M.
That one global which crit barely even heals 1/10 of a persons total HP. No wonder it cannot keep up atm.
My guess is Blizz nerfed the intellect coefficient of certain skills during the previous nerfs, that it doesnt scale well enough in the current patch, making some skills significantly weak. Glimmer on the other hand is scaling pretty well, and is making the overall hps in raids look better than it should
Top players did switch but i will say sin still has some of the best ST consitant dmg in dungeons even with just lust at 509 i can push upwards of 750k on just openers aoe is still weaker but can still when played right beat out alot of front runners
I would say also for Assassination rogue the buff was not all they got….it also said that the teir set was doing slightly less dmg than blizzard hoped and it wasnt proccing as much…..so a buff with a slightly harder hitting 4 set it made sence to see the climb and ad a sin rogue player my damage went up alot even in dungeons
Surv never did catch any more tuning for it's tierset either 🙁
Fire mages interrupts aren't as bad as you're making it out to be. Counter Spell, Flame Breath, Blast Wave, all get their CDs reduced by shifting power, letting counter spell come up a second time for a double kick. And blast wave wasn't even mentioned which is another AoE stop like flame breath ofc
man i love how top 9 dps has either lust or brez and there's spriest
Fire mage is maybe the class with most AOE cc. You have DB that is on 45s cd, but it gets reduced be shifting power(12s) and Fire bast(2s). And a Blast Wave on 30s cd(does not get reduced by fire blast) + a kick on 20s cd. Not sure which other dps spec has better AOE disturb.
So important information on subtlety. It's actually 1-2% behind assassin. There's currently a bug introduced with 10.2.7 where logs are unable to attribute the 4 set damage (akaaris soul) to the rogue. So about 15-20% of their damage is being accredited to what amounts to a separate raid member.
I informed warcraftlogs and they mentioned they know, and probably can't do anything about it on their end.

Fire has 2ccs on short duration. Db and blastwave Reduced both by shifting power and the talent in the left tree.
Coming from 10+++ Ret paladin bashing video's for last season mythic+ moving on bashing the next class that is performing well in mythic+ for this season. Hi Mages! Can we have some Shadow Priest bashing video's for mythic+ haven't seen that being the main topic so far. They're 30% popularity , overperforming in AoE and Single target etc. etc.? Oh…wait… 🙂
