World of Warcraft: Dragonflight reviewed on PC by Leana Hafer.
Dragonflight reignites the sense of wonder and exploration that originally drew me to World of Warcraft, for about the first 30 or 40 hours. Beyond that, it definitely starts to feel a bit threadbare. Dragon riding is fun as hell, and I love the design of the new zones. But this expansion’s back-to-basics approach is very much a double-edged sword. I won’t burn out as fast because there aren’t a million things to do every day just to keep up like there were in Shadowlands. But at the same time, I don’t feel like there’s enough to do that’s genuinely interesting once I’ve cleared all the very well-written side quests. An excellent new crafting system is gated behind mind-numbing amounts of mindless grinding for resources, in addition to weekly caps, which feels like a double jeopardy situation. I like Dragonflight, but I fell out of love with it not long after hitting max level. I really hope Blizzard looks at this as a rebuilding year for WoW, and doesn’t hesitate to iterate on some of the inventive ideas in Shadowlands that were maybe only a step or two away from being great.
how did they not implement dragon racing
what a crap of a game
WoW should make a single-player RPG that's playable on Console & feels like a rich narrative experience
he gave it a 7 which is above average. Stop crying WOW nerds 🤓🤓🤓
Worst review i've even watched lol. Bet they haven't played the endgame
World of Warcraft was a 6/10 since Pandaria finished… game is absolute meme at this point.
Horrible review for ign to cover
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
its skyrim no you wont find other people thats the experince get the dirt off you're face'
Is this game pack last for 30 days only or it has to be monthly subscribed?
Lmao. The quests they thought were "WoW at it's finest" are literally the most boring and dry quests in the game. Here, sit on a ledge and read NPC text for 10 minutes straight. Great stuff… NOT!
Why isn't an actual WoW expert reviewing this? Like why do you give credit to noobs IGN…
Easily the worst review IGN has ever done. Never use this source again. A lot of misinformation. This dude did side quests and reviewed the expansion. Doesn’t know how to efficiently farm materials either.
Bro the reviewer is literally a transvestite… It all makes sense now
Blizzard is dead.
Maybe because Shadowlands was so disappointing that Dragonflight feels so refreshing, and therefore maybe my opinion is biased. But this is really a bad take on what is in my opinion, one of the best expansions in WoW history since Legion.
Why are you blocking your nose while you talk?
💯
Textbook example as to why nobody should ever take IGN seriously.
This is such an awesome expansion
Is this guy holding his nose when speaking
If you want work next to your daily work go play this game. Its made to keep you aslong in game as posible to make you spend mony everymonth. Not even talking about lag and failing servers.
DEAD THUG USA
MALE DEAD KNIGHT WARRIOR M-RATED GAMES WHITE MALE M-RATED GAMER
Step backwards from Shadowlands ummm are you high reviewer? Shadowlands was crap and caused so many to leave the game. This expansion has more open world this to do. Yes it has world quests that refresh once pre week, rares that spawn, dailies to do and open world events on a timer. These are short events are nice change from the long invasions will long cool downs a chance for gear is nice for those that don’t like the M+ or raiders groups. The return of the talent trees is nice to. One of the down sides of this expansion is crafting and the lack of crafting orders. Best part is FLYING from the start of the expansion, no more ground mounts. So ign this review is your Shadowlands for me goodbye.
This mate says he played for about 30-40hrs but his knowledge and understanding of the game says he played for a solid 5mins and then read a few misinformed blogs…
Also, why tf does he sound like he's holding his nose closed when he talks
Are you serious? Shadowlands was the lowest point of WoW since Dreanor.
Dragonflight is the most promising expansion in years.
How is dragon riding begging for controller support? Lmao. This is one of the most bogus reviews I've ever seen. Dude doesn't know what he's talking about.
he misdirected to a dps lmao
lol saying how they should reintroduce the maw and thorgast which were the most hated systems of all time. lol ign a joke as always.
This is definitely a journo review
This guy is bitter
Looks like league of legends game just open world😀
Clearly someone at WOW slept with someone's wife at IGN.
Lol igns reviews of wow are always terrible. Imagine saying one of your favorite things in the game is sitting on a ledge doing nothing listening to an npc tell you his lifestory. Another horrible review from a mega casual.
2:53 fire mage could do this in vanilla with blast wave and slow fall lmao
Dumbass review
Imagine rating one of the best expansions since legion worse than the expansion that literally caused the WOW exodus.
Well this is an IGN review so you can't take it 100% seriously anyway.
at least did they improved this game since it launched?! tragedy.
Man ign never dissapoints with their weird takes.
How they give df less than sl is insane.
IGN has no actual WoW players on staff and it shows. This is the best expansion in a long long time and almost everyone I've talked to in game would give it at least an 8 if not a 9 or 10. What a joke.
Wtf? Why does he keep trying to make points without actually substantiating anything with evidence, facts or even an opinion. He just says things and then makes no follow up point to conclude his arguments. What a silly review from a silly boy. This Xpac is much better then Shadowlands.
Wtf were they think with the dragon designs. They look like something taken from second life.
