  1. As far as I can tell this is an Epic Swords replica, and not the official blizzard one. The offocial goes for 1500€ on the blizzard store +250€ for the wall mount. Obviously they've only sold it a couple of times in the past and it basically wold out instantly every time.

  2. "You definitely had to have this sword if you wanted to be one of those top tier players"

Frostmourne itself as a whole was not an item obtainable in-game.. 🤨

  3. I have one of them.

One of the few items I have that I would never sell. Thing has only been out of its box long enough to grab some photos, and then has been placed back in there. Cannot believe that guy sold it for only a few hundred more than it was worth in 2008 (if he bought it from Blizzard)… in 2013 they were going for $1500 USD on eBay.

  4. Lich King expansion was awesome. I think you got 'battered hilt' from a dungeon. It was a rare drop, but Blizzard drops like thousands of them first day of patch. So. It was a rare drop. And the 'batttered hilt' started a quest, and you get like Frosmourne's little cousin or something, a decent but not great sword. Can't remember what that sword was called. Anyway. Who doesn't recall that dungeon, where you're backpedaling and you have to handle the wave after wave of enemies. If the Lich King gets to X distant from you, you take like a gazillion damage. You might have like 20K health. Lich King does the Frostmourne AOE chain lightning, every member of the party takes 8000000000 damage. Anyway. Somewhere between the decision to give up Warcraft to do 'other things,' he lost his mind and sold this sword for 750 US dollah.
