  1. I think using an enrage timer (or assuming one if there is no hard enrage timer) is very unnecessary.

A better measurement would be taking the average kill timer of the first 50 or 100 kills. I think that into could be available on log websites if they archive the old content.

  2. I think Garrosh LFR having 25 min enrage timer has more to do with people than the fight itself. I mean LFR is a joke in an of itself, so it's the people who joined LFR for gearing or whatever and going afk that's the problem. And if you have like 5 people afk, that's quite the dps you are losing out on,even for LFR.

  3. Can you please stop comparing vanilla to classic ? Ragnaros would have been a joke too in 2005 if people had access to the busted ass 1.12 talents, the 1.9 reworked dungeon items and addons as powerful as dbm to play the game for them.

  4. Casual guilds like us back in BC and WotLK where always close to this enrage timers. And we have seen them go enrage more then we liked it 😆 So Illidian where even end of this season like 23+ minutes or something.

  5. I remember one time when the guild I was in at the time had a really long fight with the Faction Champs in Trial of the Grand Crusader during WOTLK. It was at least 30 minutes but we eventually got them down

  6. I remember Ragnaros back in classic taking 15+ mins. This was a long fight, and we were expected to 'wand' or melee our mana until it came back.
I remember various ZG fights taking…around 15 minutes to complete, especially after multiple wipes. The trash took a long time too.
Magtheridon took a while because he had so much HP, and you kept having to constantly switch to the adds that would form around the room. That, and we may have been slightly undergeared.
Deathwing was probably one of the longest fights ever! It just so had many phases, and some of which were almost passive in which you had to wait for adds or stacks in order to progress. It took quite a long time.

  7. longest raid racist game is lie propaganda to force players to kill nations.
    What is nation?
Humans born without nationality, born without fascism, nationalization in childhood make them.
False value, false enemy, false nation definition make false enemy, destroy value of life.
Nationalist kleptocracy created fa, refuse value of life and human rights.
Reward for worsening is kleptocracy support, steal reward system.
Support nationalist kleptocracy, participate in war crime.
Wikipedia false nation definition changed always.
They kill for nation, they not know what nation is.
Not can distinguish between race and nation.

Golden toilet marauder hilterugend science academy economy, kill and loot.
    Many program errors.
Big cost in money and time.
Booze narcologist barmen alcohol chemical addiction for children.
Killing for religion of peace, priest ten commandments.
Sacred satan religion war godless church.
False race definition, false nation definition, make players to kill nations, made fa.
    Overpopulation family values.

  8. “Not even modern guilds write down their fight lengths.”

I forget if someone has to upload the info or if it magically appears, but

The Warcraft logs website tracks every stat you could hope to record, and a lot of people are anal about kill time. And after any successful encounter, an addon reports to chat with some desired information, like this:

“Il’gynoth (H25) downed in 6:45 with 23 players remaining. You have defeated this boss 3 times.”

And because everyone is paranoid about carrying dead weight through raids, kill time comes may come up regularly depending on who you are with.

“X guild downed it in 7 min. There’s no reason we can’t.” “Taking longer than 10 min, someone’s not pulling their weight.” Endless examples.

  9. This is a cool list and all but the biggest argument I have is there's huge difference between vanilla and classic.

Vanilla was the discovery of how to do all these paws fights classic which came out over a decade later had a bunch of people that have done the fights numerous times and and knew the strategy already going into it.

On top of that there's a difference between being a tank and another random class when doing some of these. In vanoah you could not have have a tank without some specific gear to do some of the fights and that's still a unarguable statement.

You're not going to throw a tank withink with absolutely no fiery resistance at Ragnarok's.

Again during vanilla was was the age of discovery or as classic was just going back and doing it again with strategies that were already known… Not saying a lot of people didn't suck Dory suck during vanoah because there was tons of those but trying to compare vanilla to classic classic is pretty pretty far from the truth

  10. Song fights 'feel' longer because they are so unrelentingly hectic. Mythic Blackfuse felt like a marathon because you were constantly moving, constantly dealing with mechanics, constantly switching target, constantly running on the belt…

And yeah, Spine of Deathwing. Felt so long despite being relatively short because its just stressful.

  11. The nefarian world first was probably uploaded to google video before google bought youtube, and chose to migrate it over later

  12. Might've just wanted to go with world first kill times. Trying to reverse calculate soft enrage timers and add those to kill times to get some theoretical fight length feels… unnecessary.

  13. Your logic for the 'average kill times' doesnt make much sense. World first kills have usually the longest kill times not the shortest. They have the least amount of gear at the time of the kills cause they are doing it first. Good – average – bad guilds are going to have faster kill times on their first kills cause they will have much better gear at the time of their first kills.
