World of Warcraft: Cataclysm – Kiting Boss to Orgrimmar

Ok, so basically this is a kiting video since i couldnt find any decent ones that were of Cataclysm material. Just before i explain how this process came about, i’ll point out that this was filmed on the PTR (Naralex pvp realm) NOT the cataclysm beta.

I actually first noticed the battlemasters were buffed to 85 (along with a collosal HP pool) when i was exploring the new areas (as you do) So i started playing around with the idea of kiting them to different areas, only to find out guards wouldnt attack them. The NPC found in this video is Su’ura Swiftarrow, found here on wowwiki: http://www.wowwiki.com/Su%27ura_Swiftarrow

She’s in Ashenvale, pretty close to Orgrimmar, so the whole thing was made pretty easy by that fact alone. I Initially tried to kite with a priest using dispel, but eventually i ran out of mana and she’d go into evade/teleport. I then started kiting with a druid and found it was the easiest/safest way to do it with faerie fire in cat form.

Once in the city, i’d just run to the big open spots where people usually hang out and bait them into attacking. I just want to point out that i added a kill count because i have to occasionally apply faerie fire to keep the npc in combat, and also make sure i dont die by getting too close, so if you can’t see what you really want to see then its probably down to that 😛
