There is a problem with the dynamic frequency of the GPU, I noticed on the 2400G that sometimes the GPU change the state in game to a 2D frequency (200/400MHz), manually set the GPU frequency in Ryzen Master solve the issue.
hi! i ahve been watching a lot of your videos regarding the ryzen apu's processors since i want to build a new itx pc exclusively for Wow Classic. Do you think this APU will be able to run the game smoothly?? now that the beta is live would be nice if you could make one video ( if you have a beta key ) using this APU or the 2200G.

По вашим прошлым тестам 2400G был на уровне 2200G в разгоне, разница была не большая. Что же все таки будет предпочтительнее 2200G в разгоне или 2400G в разгоне?
Например с 2х8GB RAM: 3200-3400 CL16
сейчас разница между этими камнями около 50$ в магазинах.

really impressive what the amd APU can handle … If you only play wow, league of legends, overwatch, csgo etc (like .. not high end graphic games, but you can play them with good settings) you dont even need a graphics card anymore … with intel you still get shit APUs though ..
Nur 42 Watt im Windows IDLE-Betrieb, an der Steckdose gemessen, trotz 650W Netzteils. 70…120 Watt im Gaming-Modus, je nach Game. Wenn APU des Ryzen 5 2400G auf 1500MHz übertacktet wird, dann sind es 145W. Ein 150W Netzteil würde also ausreichen 😉 Ich bin echt zufrieden mit der Gaming-Leistung der Ryzen 5 2400G APU. Meine GTX 1060 6GB liegt jetzt nur noch ausgebaut neben dem PC, als Deko. 😉 Klar ist die besser, aber die brauch auch ein Haufen mehr Strom…
You have higher fps that Ryzen 1700 4Ghz whit Corsair H110i and AMD flare 3200mhz ram + Gtx970SLI… it dosent mater if i play 4k or 720p at ultra the GPU memory speed bottleneck it to 30-60fps at 10
I'm going to be running this for a month or two until I save for a 1070 or something so glad to see it's actually decently playable with the APU I have on order!
Well this helps a ton. Found a $600 PC with this Ryzen chip in it for my son and was worried it would be as slow as the old laptop we have. I'm guessing this processor isn't going to be playing newer games on higher settings or anything, right?

I just build my first own PC and I am so excited! My parts are:
MB: MSI B350 Tomahawk
CPU(APU) : AMD Ryzen 5 2400g
RAM: DDR4 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz
OS : Win10 Pro
I watched several videos on setting up the BIOS to put my VRAM up to 2GB, I OC the CPU from 3.6 to 3.8GHz, I updated every driver available for my system, but still when I go and launch WoW I am sitting to 2-6 FPS. Please I need some advices as what to do at this stage. Much appreciate it!
I am looking forward to build a pc with this APU , ab350 motherboard, 2×4 gb ram at 3200 mghz and a 500 watt psu. The main game I am going to play is Wow. What do you think? And is there any issue with the bios and all that. Am I going to be able to pay at BfA? Should I overclock it? Please share me your knowledge:) Plus an ssd 250gb and an hdd 1tb
can you reach 7 or 8 graphic level with ryzen 2400g? i saw it was customized. what level can you reach and have 50-60 fps?
try to put it to HIGH performance mode , this aint right bro 😀 but nice performance alrdy 🙂 CPU dips its frequency way too often which causes short FPS drops. pls staph it.

From what I've seen in many other benchmark videos, as soon as you overclock it (CPUs at 3800 Mhz and GPU at 1500 Mhz or so) FPS becomes stable and 2400g has amazing performance in games like War Thunder, Overwatch, HotS, Dota2, Rainbow six Siege… Even Pubg or Witcher 3 runs well on 1080p low. Fast memory is a must though 🙁 (at least 2900)
Anyway. IMHO – this is the best budget gaming option at this point.

a very well deserved thumps up, this is what i was looking for days to make up my mind thank you so much, i'm going for this apus for a new build to upgrade from my i3 first gen + gt220 from years ago to this and with the prices today in gpus this solves the issue and will let me play wow even for BfA thanks a lot.

What the hell is wrong with your cpu speeds they are dancing all around turn that crap off and set your cpu speeds yourself this is awful to watch.
You can test them with the war thunder game
Are the frame drops in the Raid happening only when recording? If not, it is kinda weird.
Good and useful video again, keep up the good work! You have quite high custom settings, how is the game on medium settings? Is that have stable at least 60 FPS or still have some low FPS spikes? Will you do some similar videos like this with the 2200g too?
