I wanted to put together a short guide that shows you the basics of the MaxDps addon in World of Warcraft (WoW). I also go over ways you can customize the addon including adding an icon using Weakauras.

I find with warlock it just stays on UA after a few casts
At Dragonflight expansion Mage and Warlock worked great but Warrior keeps telling me in chat should have used unavailable ability I have not acquired yet at lower level. Not certain if this can be corrected or just have to wait to acquire that skill.
thank you as a very low vision player i was recently told about this and then I was wondering what the darn circles meant other than i should use them
funny how you can make a build that does not have Scorch but it stills crazy spams you about not having it 😀
Great guide! it was easy to follow. One thing I would add is that WeakAuras and WeakAura Options both need to be istalled and enabled.
hey. i gor maxdps for rogue, but it only works with deadly poison and cant find any options to make it work with other poisons
this is not working on my rogue but it does work on all my other chrs how do I fix this ?
do you know if this app will be updated for Dragonflight?
this video is so un helpful
Are these max DPS still relevant in later patches like 9.2?
On curseforge it shows last update was around two years ago. I assume those rotation algorithms would change per patch based on class/ability changes?
Wow! Thx for the info. Very concise
Thanks for the info.
Your videos are really helpful, concise and great quality – keep on grinding, you'll find a niche or angle that starts to bring in consistent big views if you keep at it …. then you can remake these OG videos and update them for the larger audience who doesn't know how good these short but effective guides are. Probably need to sprinkle a few "how I beat X in Y seconds" or "killing X with these 3 keys" type titles (or youtube shorts) to widen the visibility and clicks, but whatever approaches you take, best of luck! I remember watching a Warlock video by some dude called 'asmongold' years ago…. seemed like a fairly obscure guide and i never would have imagined this warlock rotation video guy would be one of the biggest names in streaming just a couple of years later!
