EA Sports PGA Tour | All Shot Types Explained (Tips + Tricks)
My go-tos for approach are usually flop and spinner, I love how they stop so quickly which is a perpetual problem for me. The shot will either scream all the way across the green from fringe to fringe, or bounce right next to the hole and roll ALL the way backward off the green. Those two shots prevent this from happening as much. And I just will not use pitch, runner, or punch unless I absolutely have to, the amount of roll is insane and hard to control. In order: flop, spinner, chip, then pitch.
Any help appreciated to get on green for hole # 10 Rahm challenge?

I’m so annoyed with this game. I can’t get the ball to stop running the greens. I’ll hit it short with a draw or fade and the ball just runs. I’ve even hit my 3-4 irons to the lip in front of the green and it just runs. It’s nearly impossible to get anything to stick. Getting punished for hitting good shots is what this game is about. Trading it back in

The backspin on approach shots is way off in this game. 9 iron and wedges roll back like 10 yards or more all the time regardless of loft. It's completely ruining the game for me, I hope they tinker with it.
Irrelevant as the game won't even load on ANY platform.
My approach shots either hit too far past the cup or land and roll off the green. Any tips to have the ball land softer with little to no roll?
Dude can I ask you are you able to change your swing styles. I can change my swing animation but not my swing style. Just wondering is this a bug or is it locked once your golfer is created.
This game is so fucking hard. I can’t get out of Q School
I am a long term ea sports golf user,right back to 2008 and have had no problems with the game. With new game however my golfer almost always defaults to "practice" whenever I start a game in any mode.Using the p5 button is supposed to toggle this mode but is totally erratic in use. Have tried other buttons too but getting out of "practice" seems random on my game. Any help would be much appreciated.
This might sound daft… but how do you hold your controller?? On PS4 I would comfortably be 7-10 under on a round and used the controller through 90 degrees to how you'd normally hold it to get the best result. PS5 though, I'm really struggling!
Is there any explanation as to what fast/slow, do to your shots? I haven't found anything with a good explanation.
Can you do a video on skill points..where you should apply them to etc.

The Spinner and Pick are far more useful than the Pitch and Blast. They should be the first shot types you get to gold.

finesse and spinner and flop basically are required. if anyone is struggling with holding greens, I suggest putting all the points you can and get those 3 skills to gold. worry about driving later.

I’ve unlocked power drive but I can’t seem to choose it from the tee,can’t change it from Drive,thanks for this I wasn’t sure what some of the shots did,especially the Knock back!
