Today we are comparing EA SPORTS PGA TOUR vs PGA TOUR 2K23 using the Same Course, Same Professional Golfer, Same Difficulty.
This is just a video for you to see both games side by side in action. I personally enjoy both of these games, so it’s something for the general public to see what they prefer.
EA SPORTS PGA TOUR VS PGA TOUR 2K23 could be a rivalry for years to come. They both have different strengths and different weaknesses. None are perfect, none are terrible. There 2 very good golf games and even though you might be picky, saying they need this or that. That’s not how it works it’s a couple small to medium sized teams doing their best.

It’s the same old pointless comparisons tbh. It was the same with pro evolution soccer and FIFA. Who honestly cares which one is better. It’s always down to personal opinion. Play and buy the one you like and enjoy it.
Played 2k21 and 2k23 ALOT, love the game, recently just bought EA and it’s a whole different feel. Much more authentic, I am a career mode guy and EA career and presentation is MUCH better. The pace of EA sports is slow though but not enough to not be fun. I give 2k23 an B and EA a A
Have both, Ea animations look like they haven't played the game in their life. Graphics look better but that follow camera is awful. More licences tho. 2k is my favourite, graphics not as good but animations better. Could do with more licenced tournaments & commentary can be annoying when Rich beam goes off on one. Anyway happy Golfing. Sidenote I used to love Ea golf games this is the 1st I haven't but both games battling will only make them better
EA is better, but anybody who has ever played golf can tell you that the backswings on EA are so unrealistically slow. It’s really stupid.
I bought the EA sports one on steam today for 14 bucks cuz of the spring sale so I say yeah it's worth 14 but never 70 😂

Visually I prefer EA, ease of play goes to 2K
At least 2k supports ps4 and EA does not, I just don't have 500 bucks for a ps5
As someone who enjoys golf games casually I massively massively prefer 2K. Been playing since November 2022 and love it, the game feels very nice and smooth on PS5 alongside the roster of golfers being great too (besides characters like John Cena for some reason). I played a decent bit of EA Golf via the trial through GamePass and I honestly just don’t like it. Even with the new 60fps patch it feels very clunky to me and the roster of golfers is a lot worse in my opinion. The graphics in EA however do look like some of the best I’ve ever seen in a game with it being exclusive to next gen and PC.
Guys… There is no comparaison to have… I get both games and if EA has better graphic, it's the only thing better on it…
If you want better graphic buy EA game, but if you want better golf game buy 2K one.
It's more smooth on 2K, cameras are better on 2K, there is more uncertainty shoots on EA.
You have a practice mode on 2K, it's incredible that EA don't propose a practice for a golf game. There is more explication for beginners on 2K.
But EA graphics are really impressive
I can’t get over the unrealistic swing on EA. 2K is fun and challenging. But it’s a money grab. More so than nba2k which is surprising. TakeTwo has a long track record of making superior sports games.
I’m gonna be getting the EA game on Tuesday. It looks and sounds way better and I love the more in depth career mode.
I have PGA tour 2k23 on PS 5 so that is what I'm currently playing
Part 2??? now that consoles have 60 fps and also the textures have been lowered on that 60 fps mode so I’d be interested to see how those 2 compare with each other now
EA offering sure looks a lot better, plays and sounds better.
*Found out, EA game best for single player play aka Career Mode while 2k's best for multiplayer.

Why would EA release this on PC and not include mouse/keyboard support. SMH. Guess I'm waiting for that and for a big time sale. Seems very expensive for what I have seen… especially when some of us will have to buy a controller as well. EA not everyone has or can use a controller. Great video by the way. Thx!
I don’t think I could go back to 2k at this point, it looks so dated by comparison. EA getting the Augusta license doesn’t hurt their cause, fuck “Magnolia”.
2k look’s definitely faster paced. But honestly EA’s looks more realistic with how your ball reacts to certain shots on the green. I’m actually glad I bought EA instead
I’m having fun with PGA 2k23. That graphics aren’t as good as EA but they aren’t horrible either. I was expecting them to be bad with the way ppl have been trashing the graphics but when I bought the deluxe on sale , I said yeah I’m buying it and I’ve been loving it so far.
Only thing that was a downer for me was that I can’t play as Michael Jordan in career mode. I’m not big into online so that was a bummer for me.
I’ll probably still buy EA at a later date

EA is absolutely garbage. Great visuals. 30 fps. Trash mechanics.

The strange thing with 2k is that the women are playing in the same tour as the men. Makes no sense.
Crowd look bad in both, ai is bad, no gallery ropes or marshalls…both would have been a good touch. Still no mouse for EA? Or has it been fixed?
Ea sports is way better wat good is it has arcade and simulation mode so its for everyone
2k21 is the best game you don’t shank the ball every time you hit it 2K 23 and the new PGA tour you can never hit the ball straight both games suck
