Criken unleashes a mob of thousands of Tauren across the continent of Azeroth to assault the Gates of Ironforge. Though we may have lost a few (many) along the way, all sacrifices were made FOR THE HERD!
A video of Extra Scenes + After Party of the event will be uploaded sometime next week so watch out for that.
Our plan was to run from the Tauren starting zone of Mulgore all the way to Ironforge through a complicated path fraught with dangerous monsters, deadly drops, an army of enemy patrols, and loads of irate level 90 alliance members. I’m happy to confirm the plan was indeed a success.
I’d been meaning to organize a community event for a while now and I’m pretty pleased with how this one went. Even with the short server crash at the start and the strange character zone disappearances, the actual run went pretty smoothly and (relatively) according to plan. I want to thank all the friends and fans who showed up to run through this with me, I obviously wouldn’t have been able to do it without your perseverance.

Guard: No sir…it's Tauren,
King:…Are you drunk?
Guard: No sir…at least not that i am aware of. A horde of Taurens came charging through the gate and now they are-
Door slams open Sir the Tauren have started to take off their clothing!
King and Guard….Are you drunk?
New Guard: No sir! I am being completely serious. We have several thousand Tauren, some already nude, and several more in the process of stripping, running around Ironforge Heading towards the tram. The guard is too confused to do anything. What are your orders sir!
King and Guard look at each other for a moment and then turn back to guard.
King…Are they attacking the people?
New Guard: No Sir!
Guard: Are they destroying property?
New Guard: No Sir!
King and Guard look at each other again., before the king turns around and throws his arms into the air as he leaves the chamber.
Guard and New Guard:Sir where are you…
King: I am going to find some ale and then i am going to sit down and contemplate just how much more ale i will need to drink until today is nothing but a distant memory. You are welcome to come with me.
Guard and New Guard look at each other for a moment before they hear the tramping of hooves as a naked Tauren runs past with several armor clad Dwarves running after them with a large piece of cloth held between two of them as they shout at the Tuaren to stop and lay down on the ground.
Several seconds later those same Dwarves run past the door being chased by several more naked Tauren, all yelling about how they were going to be late.
Guard and New Guard:…Sir wait up!
Guard: How did they even get here?
King: Don't ask, just don't ask. Let's just go find some ale and find somewhere safe to ride this out.
Guard and New Guard: Yes Sir!
