Still getting low fps ? try lowering the resolution ingame i.e Using the Resolution Scale option, Start at 100% then work downwards until viable results are found.

Try overclocking both your CPU & GPU, this can help out a TON! just find out what your gpu or cpu is, or both and youtube for overclocking guides, this will help ALOT!

  1. Thank you so much for this! I'm using this for 10.1 so some of the options weren't here but this has really helped me. I was having serious lag issues this past week in Valdrakken and now it's running smoothly. Thank you!!

  2. Thank you so much! Ever since Shadowlands dropped, my laptop stopped running smoothly at Ultra/High graphics but now with everything lowered, I can finally run it like a charm 😊

  3. hey thanks for the guide it helped some but im still running 40-50 fps behind far more intesive games, Aswell as 80 odd behind people with similar pc builds. Is there any changes you know of recently that has cause wierd issues. Thanks again for this video and any further advice you may be able to give

  4. Thanks! Can you make a new one for dragonflight? 🙂 I have fps issues, I tried following most in this video, but stuff have changed in the menues and some options are not there or have changed.

  5. For anyone wondering this does not fix the recent random stuttering issues that started since Dragonflight Pre-Patch. Seems to be either Driver related or the game itself.

  6. Great information. In between jobs and was collecting parts for a new build when this decision was made. I decided to just use an old laptop with a crummy GPU that is super low end. I had turned everything down before and undervolted the GPU with great success. Before it was running at 70-73c and with how thing this thing is, it was burning my hand. After having undervolted the gpu, the laptop was down to 64c which is more manageable AND the frame dropped from 74fps to 54fps. Which these tips and not adjusting the graphics from where they were before, the fps increased from 54fps to 77fps constant.

Will have a new job within a week or two and then I will resume ordering the remaining components needed for new PC. With that said, I will of course run max graphics AND do these settings for best performance on that machine too.

  7. Awesome video! I had never heard of some of these settings. Tried most of these suggestions and it works very well on an old FX-4350 cpu, RX 480gb, and I upped texture resolution to High and it looks GREAT and usually in the 90 to 120 fps range, sometimes dropping to 70s or 60s in open world busy areas but mostly over 100 fps avg so far in dragonflight
