The music played in the very first World Of Warcraft Raid, Molten Core. There isnt very much music in the raid, but it brings back memories.

  1. Those first 20 seconds will always paint the image of the epic moment my guild and i gathered at the entrance preparing last moment buffs before our grand adventure.

  2. Gods. Even though I don't like most of the gear drops in Molten Core, I still solo it weekly so I can just enjoy the atmosphere, music, and memories. I can't wait to hit 60 and run it proper, but I've also just been enjoying taking my time in Classic and exploring the old world I've missed since 4.0.3.

  3. In contrast to all my friends who played this game, I was never able to get into a good raiding guild. A few bosses in ZG, the first boss of AQ20 and Lucifron and Magmadar here were as far as I could ever get back then. Sure I saw all my friends doing all these cool bosses but… sigh oh what does it matter now. All of it lies buried in the past now.

  4. Makes me wish they would bring back 40-man raiding, elemental resistance requirements and increase the presence of mechanical situations, with kiting, slowing, sapping, and debuffing.

  5. True Story. As GM of one of the first guilds (top 20) to kill in both full MC and Onyxia (all first on our server) we were breaking the double Firelords at the opening bridge for the first time. Since everyone was in blues and almost zero fire resist it was a mother fu##er… and 2 were impossible to kill. If either lived, the other would respawn. So after a practice nite (about 8 dedicated officers) we did the pull with the entire raid at zone line and 2 stealthed rogues (me incl) towards the bridge. We had two hunters come forward… naked with 2g value bows. They were fodder. They pulled… retreated and feigned/died well before reaching the main group. On the way back to the bridge the Firelords "sensed" us rogues and slowed/stopped. One retreated towards bridge as the other closer one was trying find us rogues who were near enough… we dropped stealth and hit sprint towards the main raid, the Vent command was given and a hunter popped up and pulled the Firelord. Bingo, separated. Killed. No Respawn as they no longer shared the agro. CHEERS!!! Some people started to question if this was "exploiting" as they hadnt seen such tactics utilized. So I petitioned a GAMEMASTER to ask if it was okay. My response was immediate. I said "Hi" or something… and he asked "how could he help". I told him what we were doing and asked if it was an exploit. He said: "We have several GMs sitting right here watching you guys raid! We think its brilliant and see no exploiting at all." To which I said "Thanks. And enjoy the show". Very freaking cool. Suffice it to say, we did not kill Lucifron on that nite or even first week.

  6. 5:12… Seriously, the composer of that part must be part of the team that did the FFX music! I just can't get it out of my head, they must be related somehow..! D:
