Heyo, what’s up guys! It’s Curtis Pyke here, but my friends call me Big C. Back in action, back on heartbeat. Today, I want to dive into the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within. I’m super excited to be playing it, and I want to share some awesome highlights from the Alpha previews and trailer. Let’s get started!

Highlights & New Mechanics in The War Within:
00:00 – 00:26:

Hey everyone, let’s dive into The War Within. I’m curious, are you playing it? If so, where are you playing? I’d love to join up and have some fun!

00:26 – 00:45:

War Bands Moment: More than half of World of Warcraft players play two or more characters. In this expansion, the entire character roster levels up with war bands, allowing us to level up all our characters at once. Perfect for those with busy schedules!

00:45 – 01:05:

New Character Selection Screen: When you first log into The War Within, you’ll see a revamped character selection screen. You can assign up to four favorite characters, Horde and Alliance alike, to be displayed in front of a WoW-themed scene. All characters on your account, regardless of the server, are part of your warband and combined into a single list.

01:05 – 01:19:

Sharing Resources: Say goodbye to mailing resources! The War Within introduces a new bank tab for sharing all non-soulbound items among your characters. Hundreds of inventory slots can be unlocked across multiple bank tabs, and resources can be shared easily.

01:19 – 01:42:

Professions and Currencies: Crafting and leveling up profession skills are more efficient. Many currencies are no longer locked to each character and can be transferred across the warband. Plus, all flight paths in Azeroth are available for all characters once discovered.

01:42 – 02:10:

War Bound Until Equipped Gear: A brand new mechanic where gear can be sent to and equipped by other characters until it’s bound. This helps in gearing up other warband members while adventuring. Transmog runs are now more efficient, with aesthetics populating across all warband characters.
