In this episode, Couz will react to the recent list released by EA Sports where they ranked the top 25 most intimidating college football stadiums for the College Football 2025 video game. Couz takes exception to several Big 12 stadiums that weren’t on the list and he names a few that could have been included. Why did WVU football’s stadium not make the list? What about the stadium where the Iowa State Cyclones play? Did Oklahoma State’s Boone Pickens Stadium make the list? Couz answers all these questions and more in the video. #collegefootball #easports #collegefootball25 #big12football

I still think that in the Big 12:
Utah
K-State
OSU
WVU
ISU
BYU
TTU
are all top tier game experiences and really tough to play in.
I don't think they considered how much better certain teams are at home vs on the road.
Milan Puskar is a GREAT home field. I'm originally from Latrobe and I watched a LOT of great Pitt teams lose there.
This is showing some of the regional bias in data collection.
MSU, Boise, Arkansas, South Carolina, Wisconsin, have no business on this list.
The palace on the Prairie is at #8 for top 10 of EA sports loudest crowd and it is true!!
“Lane stadium is too small” it’s bigger than all the stadium ur advocating should be ahead lol. List is bad tho way too much sec hype
Seriously laughable! Whats A&Ms record at home last 10-20 years?? 🤡😂🤦🏼♂️😂
They always underestimate the mountaineers. Hopefully well start making them regret that with the Penn State game on august 31st. we have one of the best uniforms designs and stadiums in all of college football even trying to remove my Mountaineer colored glasses.
You have to remember the EA is based in Redwood City, CA. And, the programmers are not the biggest fans of collegiate athletics. I’m not looking that deep into the list.
Iowa States Jack Trice Stadium holds 61,500. Dare any team to go play there for a night game. That's twice what Boise St holds and their gimmick blue turf. ISU may finish with 7, 8 or 9 wins on a season but many ranked teams have fallen up in Ames. The Cyclones have some of the best fan support in the country.
The list looks very biased towards the SEC and Big 10. Clearly, they don't respect the other schools and fans! More money does not mean better fans! So, why should I buy anything from EA?
Definitely agree with your takes, and you could even include Iowa St in your argument, not the loudest but always crazy upsets there, For WVU, we just need to show up this year. With the exception of the Pitt game, our home crowds weren’t very crazy last year. Tennessee, Oregon, Auburn and Oklahoma st definitely getting screwed. Alabama, Georgia, and Texas the most overrated.
Milan Puskar stadium at Mountaineer Field should be in top 5 toughest stadiums to play in for a road team. PERIOD!!!
Couz I feel like your not factoring in how much a team wins at home.
For example Boise State has a home record of 135-16 since the year 2000 which is the 3rd best in the country
Husky Stadium still holds the all time loudest college stadium record and a .774 home win % since 2014, didn’t even make the list…
EA Sports on their methodology: “The Development Team worked to compile a list of the Top 25 Toughest Places to Play, factoring in historical stats such as home winning %, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more,”
1. Is home winning % all time or more recent history?
2. Is home game attendance just the number of people there or is it the % of stadium capacity?
3. What do they mean by "team prestige"?
4. What other factors went into this ranking?
I'm glad that these rankings will be updated as the season goes along but yeah there are some interesting choices.
Wait until Big noon it will be rocking!
I was at that Vt game too bro and i thought it was overrated for sure. Like you said Enter sand man was good but after that, everything else was down grade!
Unbelievable ain't it buddy!
Mitchell Stadium Home of the Bluefield University, Graham G-Men and Bluefield Beavers should have been on this list
When I saw this list a couple of days ago I just laughed. I was not surprised at all.
I will pre-order and play this game religiously when its out BUT as a mountaineer fan its been really discouraging how little we've been featured in the official content EA has put out for the game.. minus the one shot of us throwing an interception while being blown out at home by BYU there's been ZERO representation for WVU…. like we aren't one of the biggest brands in college football SMH
This is actually a list of all the universities that paid EA sports to be on this list. WVU and other Big 12 universities did not want to give EA Sports any money so they were not listed on here. We all know how this works. Its just like the top 25.
I completely agree couz but they’ve already said the top 25 toughest places to play will be updated according to how the season goes same goes for rankings
Agreed…it's trash. If this list is representative of their new game, both are trash!! Don't waste your money.
