What do you use to target?
Hello new to WoW and I'm trying to find the best keybind options for me. Am I understanding your video correctly by assuming you use buttons 1-5 and any other # keys on your mouse? not the keyboard? I have a mouse with two side buttons, and it's been really comfortable for me to utilize the mouse for rotations and spammables rather than the keyboard. I like to keep my fingers on my movement keys as much as possible in combat. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should get an MMO mouse or just try to get use to stretching my fingers to the # keys for my abilities. Thanx for the vid. Loved you content in ESO back in the day. I'm glad to have found your WoW vids now that I'm really getting into it.

Could you do one where you pull up the menu? Idk what action or multi action bar 2 bottom left action bottom right or whatever spot is where whatever skill is.
my keybind system is kinda weird, I've gotten comfy with it tho. only issue is I don't think its very optimal. I have the same system for most classes.( I started with spriest so it makes more sense with casters) F is filler spell. q is instant cast/dot. e is secondary spell, r is "spender", then shift T for aoe

Great guide and walkthrough! Came here to see what others are using to improve my own keybinding game. I personally use left strafe, right strafe, and walk backwards a lot while I move around, so I've been contemplating removing those for additional keybinds. Great quality video! Just subscribed and look forward to seeing your other guides!
The logic behind this video applies to other applications too. I always rebind shortcuts for other applications I work in, be it Photoshop or anything else. Also I use side buttons on my mouse (its 7 button mouse) for Delete, Enter and Backspace. This way I have right hand on my mouse and left hand on WASD area and don`t need to raise any of my hands for pressing these 3 buttons (and they are pressed too often), unless I type something.
so you basically have 3 fingers doing all the work, and your pinky on shift the whole time? just trying to figure how finger placement

I tried feral druid in wrath while key turning and i was forced to learn to mouse turn and good keybinding to get good. It was very rewarding. If you try a hard melee class, it will give you a hard incentive to learn to keybind
I did mention this under the complete beginner guide, but because you mention it here more explicitly:
If one ever considers to tank going forward or during bfa, do NOT unbind backpaddle. This is in my opinion strictly for pvp and an OPTION for non tanks.
If you currently want to move/kite in dungeons with Twilight Devastation equipped you will want to backpaddle from time to time. Also depending on how much room you have to move, unbinding backpaddle can expose your back to enemies which is not very nice as a tank that relies on block. Sanguine Waycrest, before the pig boss comes to mind. It also makes it easier to properly stack up mobs and avoid being snared right before you have to kite.
Going forward into Shadowlands backpaddeling will become more important, because on bigger pulls mobs have an even stronger urge than now to not stack up and thus surround you, making it really dangerous to strafe out, once you have a semicircle of mobs around you.
It can also be great when you have to heal/damage via Mouseover and just take a few steps out of melee range or a not so great puddle spawn. Doing a mouseturn+strafe and hit the right target in 0.396s for Shadow or 0.45s for non-Shadow during lust and gcd cap is close to impossible to pull off even semi consistently, especially because a jump can be longer than a gcd, which is bad if you have to cast.
