  1. I like your videos but your rotation is not ideal. The way you do the best damage with frost is to hold your icicles until you get a brain freeze proc. You then cast Glacial Spike while spamming your flurry button. Since the flurry travels faster it will hit the target before Glacial Spike adding the Winter's Chill de-buff which causes the spike to shatter almost always critting over 2 mil. If you don't get a Brain Freeze proc after your icicles are full you cast Ebonbolt to guarantee the Brain Freeze.

If you have to use your Spike before you get a Brain Freeze proc you spam Ice nova while casting Glacial Spike causing 100% increased damage from your spike.

Give that a try; and yes +Xue Lor if you do it the way I have described frost is OP

  2. This video implies that Frost relies solely on that large glacial spike. You can stack up fingers of frost and then also get that instant flurry off for a lot burst damage pretty similar to Fire pyroblasts…
I find the 2 specs pretty similar just different play styles.

  3. Can i ask something for experienced mage players in legion, I'm the process of leveling a mage but I'm stuck on racials. I'm deciding between troll or undead and I've tested both animations. They both look cool. My goal is to do both PVE and PVP. Thing is, I already have 2 undead characters but no troll characters. Would it be bad for me to roll a Troll mage for PVP?

  4. Arcane was actually only at 2 secs prior to the Frostbolt/Fireball cast time down to that speed, and it also got faster the more you cast it, so it wasn't slow. Frost was 2.5secs w/talents pre-BC and Fireball was 3.5secs pre-BC w/out talents (3.0secs with).

  5. Honestly Frost mage is pretty op in pvp in my perspective. I'm level 110 and I haven't even finished my Artifact for it and I'm top 5 most of the time for pvp. Fire does not do much damage in my perspective.
