  1. Jim Tressel said on a recent podcast of his that listening to sports talk radio back when he was coaching, he actually liked some of the ideas of fans and enjoyed getting perspective from people outside of the program.

  2. Tennessee is getting absolutely disrespected. They didnt have Tennessee in the top offense, defense, power ratings AND Neyland Stadium wasnt even top 10 in toughest places to play. I am just saying something is shady there

  3. These are not the actuall ranking for the game. These are roster ratings. They will probably be using the AP top 25 poll as the official rankings just like the original games.

  4. Yep…the "Playstation All-Americans" as Bobby Bowden used to call them. They're going to be out in force this season. If you thought the Colorado fans who started watching football last year and couldn't shut up about how awesome their team was were annoying, buckle up.

  5. It’s pretty obvious the main contributing factors when it came to these ratings were hype and the teams the developers were fans of, because they hardly mirror the teams they’re supposed to be representing.

  6. And Wisconsin is a tougher environment to play than Knoxville, apparently… I guess I shouldn't be shocked considering it's EA. I hope all the Vols players use this as fuel to the fire this year.

  7. I feel like i should be angry Tennessee is left off all the lists (and I am) but I’m even more angry that Colorado and Clemson are on this list. Regardless, I’ll take the bulletin board material for the Vols and I just hope they do rating updates during the season so all this can be irrelevant just like the preseason polls in real life are.

  8. The teams are ranked by overall ratings not if they are good or not. If you have a couple of 90s on ur team the overall is going to be high. When the preseason rankings come out the game will mirror the ranks. It’s not that hard to comprehend

  9. EA Sports know what they're doing, lol. They know how toxic Tennessee fans online are. 😅 They know Vols fans will be raging all and will be talki g about the game non stop because of it. Negative publicity sometimea is better depending on the situation.

  10. I’ll never understand the ranks in this game 😂 I am a Tennessee fan and it’s not biased opinion that they should be top 25. Seriously look at the other 25 and say they would beat half of them and they did beat several 🤣

  11. People rlly need to stop with oh Tennessee should be in the Top 25 y’all are a bunch of crybabies thinking everything should go exactly how it should go it’s not the end of the world plus they will probably be at least a decent overall in the game so yall need to shut the fuck up and play the game

  12. EA Sports is smart and they understand that part of college football is debates and controversy with things like polls and playoffs selections. These are only PRESEASON rankings and will change once the season starts and real games are played. EA rankings and ratings have created conversation which in turn has created content for YT and the sports media…there are 100 videos posted all discussing these rankings/ratings including this channel. Bottom line…EA could have just gone with the AP rankings but that wouldn’t create discussion so in other words they got it right

  13. Wisconsin in the top 25?
    Iowa in the top 25???
    Colorado in the top 25?????

But Tennessee is nowhere to be found

Heupel needs to use this very good locker room material to light a fire under our team
