  1. My simple reaction is this; if he’s in the game at release, it was planned. If they say it’s too late and he won’t be added until the first roster updates, it was an honest late decision to join.

  2. EA really going to shoot themselves in the foot. Now your going to have all the big names demand more $$ to be in the game or they will just hold out. You can't pay 60k for every top player. EA should've just left him out instead of creating a dangerous precedent when it comes to paying big name players. Everyone should've been paid the same. It's not a win for future games.

  3. As a Texas fan, it has been revealed to us that this was indeed the plan all along…If Arch was in from day one, no one would be talking about Quinn, a cover athlete of all things! The plan was to give Quinn all his shine until right before release, and now all anyone can talk about (as we all knew was going to happen) is about Arch…

  4. C’mon dude. Arch said he wouldn’t take NIL deals and then signed his first deal 3 months later. He said he wouldn’t be in the game to “avoid distractions” and then made a commercial to announce he’d be in it.. as a backup.

  5. He wanted some type of attention at some point, in order to do the commercial. He could’ve just opted in silently, or posted on Twitter that he was in, and refused money from EA like he did with all NIL right?? Exactly. JD can’t say that there was no attention seeking from this at all.
