How many mounts are in World of Warcraft 2024?

Unfortunately, the game interface still does not provide you
with the total count of mounts in 2024.

It only shows the amount that can be used or obtained per character.

One thing I know for sure is that the count should be above 788+

because I can still buy 10 to 15 more if I want to spend my gold on them.

For example, the 72K Reins of the Proudmoore Sea Scout

In general, i can say there are over 900+ mounts in World of Warcraft.
With The War Within, Midnight, and The Last Titan,
players can expect this total to increase even further.

I’ll list the mounts that can be purchased via event currency or gold,
avoiding Blizzard Store mounts, promotional mounts, low drop chances.

For instance, Invincible’s Reins / GG

03.Mounts from Timewalking Vendors: total of 7 mounts available. 05:18
Six can be bought from vendors for 5K Timewarped Badges each,
but it depends on the active Timewalking event.

+ Reins of the Infinite Timereaver has a chance to drop from any Timewalking boss.

04.Mounts from Island Expeditions in Battle for Azeroth 06:12
Approximately 20+ mounts come from Island Expeditions.
Bosses and rares have a chance to drop them, depending on the weekly rotation.

You can also try your luck by buying crates, which also depend on the weekly rotation.
Cost: 175 Seafarer’s Dubloons each (requires farming).

05.Mounts from Time Rift in Dragonflight (aka Island Expeditions 3.0) 08:08
A total of 7 mounts can come from the last boss in the Time Rift event.
“Repetable tasks have no lockout and start every hour, taking about 15 minutes to complete.”

In the worst case, you can buy them using Paracausal Flakes (requires farming).

06.Mounts from WoW Remix – Mists of Pandaria 10:15
event From May 16th, 2024, August 19th, 2024,

30 new mounts and 11 rare mounts that are hard to farm.
The good news is that you can buy them via Bronze event currency (only).

07.Bind-on-Equip (BoE) Mounts (drops and professions) 12:01
About 50+ BoE mounts are obtained from world events, such as Swift Springstrider/Swift Lovebird,

or random drops like the Dune Scavenger Mount.

Some also come from crafting professions, with varying requirements for learning and use

(e.g., Blacksmithing Steelbound Harness Mount or Tailoring Carpet Mounts).

Mount Achievements: 250 Mounts (usable by a single character):
– Reward: Mountacular Achievement
– Bonus: Felfire Hawk Mount

Mount Achievements: 350 Mounts (usable by a single character):
– Reward: No Stable Big Enough Achievement
