The void seeks to corrupt, drive you mad with hunger for various things. Power being one of them. It you can't dominate it per say to use it, the Void will drive you mad, and turn you into a minion minion. That is what Turalyon is afraid of, and that is why he would of rather died, and see this happen to her.
