While I didn't play league in exactly 10 years I remember Nunu and Willump to be totally ugly. They used to be just a simple fair-skinned dot on a clumpy white Yeti. But now I'm totally amazed by this design. Willump even does have a real face.
I have this vision for their story that probably makes 0 sense. I had imagined Willump die because of Jhin, who would force Nunu to watch as it would add to the artpiece (his death could introduce us to the Kindred, who would appear in Jhin's place as Willump looked at him while fading away). And in his darkest hour, Camille finds him (Piltover would be on an expansion phase because of their civil war that left them scarce on resources), and finding the boy barbaric but with potential for progress due to his will to learn, he takes him in back to Piltover, where he learns about robotics and creates the robotic version of Willump.
By the way. In that scene in with Jhin ? I imagine Evelyn (in her Coven outfit), watching in the distance, delighting in the boy and beast's respective agonies. If she participates as Jhin's partner… I'm not sure. I don't want to add too much to this scenario.
