  1. Why do I feel so emotional when he says VANILLA! Man I always wanted to go back so badly… when TBC came out I was doing rank grind and it got impossible because everyone was 61+ in AV… played as long as I could in Vailla we even had some raids still.

  2. Nevertheless they didn't make it. People are still playing on private servers and I wasn't that much hopeful about they could have managed. Its quite hard to make it live vanilla experience with highly regulated post 2015 blizzard .With neo-liberal shit and soft-core, participation trophy based recent players of this game it is impossible to achieve and of course blizzard was right about aligning the game out for majority. Real WoW's soul lies in the private servers that much I say.

  3. All these years later, this still stands as a solid example of how out of touch Blizzard tends to be with their game design. And how quickly they'll back-pedal when money's involved.

  4. In other words, he didn't want one of the features he spear-headed to be told it's actually one of the most disliked features of WoW and destroyed WoW's community.

  5. Well, I was happy for players that wanted WoW Classic. For me no thanks experienced it once is enough. Do not want to spend a whole day spamming cities to do 2 dungeons. Sure some servers do not have that problem but a lot of them do.
