  1. The roadmap theyve released a while ago says the 2 expansion packs will have "New stages AND MORE" so either theyre liyng to us or they havent announced all the content coming in those expansions

  2. The issue with the 2017 Toyota and Hyundai is actually kinda bizarre, the thing is Codemasters doesnt have the license for those.

When you open the game you can see which manufacturers they have licenses for, so Ford, Volkswagen, Opel, Stelantis and others but no mention of Hyundai or Toyota. Were only getting the Yaris Rally 2 because its part of the world chanpionship, therefore as per Codies deal with the WRC it must be in the game.

Thats why we also dont have any other Toyota apart from the Yaris Rally 1, no 80's of 90's Toyotas not even in any of the Dirt games too.

Which is a big shame, I believe that and I cant confirm it but Ive read online that Toyota blacklisted Codemasters, years and years ago, over a late payment or something like that.

As for Hyundai, Ive got no clue as to why they dont have the license for their cars

  3. Graphical improvement is needed a lot for me and pc optimization and pls let it be better than drirt rally 2.0 physics DR2.still the best even today hope they improve the game, rain still looks horrible😢

  4. I really wanted RallyGB (the most requested thing I've seen since the game came out). There's other rallies in the game that aren't on the calendar. Also want the 2011-16 era WRC cars….the Citroen DS3 is one of the most succesful cars ever. Would've loved the rest of the 2017-21 Era WRC cars. The Expansion is a let down for sure. New stages cool, but car content is more my thing. Not fussed on the new Swedish stages as we already have 2 snow rallies.

  5. Milestone and Kyloton most likely holds quite firm licensing for all the cars raced between 2012 – 2022 and we are not getting many of them on this title for a long time. Polo 2017 was never raced thus it can be licensed straight from the VV-group and Citroën C4 and Mini Countryman were in Dirt 3 and likely rights for those were bought before Milestone got the WRC license. Fiesta 2017 is mystery to me, probs has something to do with the fact that Ford sells customer cars (and even the Ford team is technicly a privater).

Rally3 Clio should have been added no doubt. Other cars I really would like to see are Corolla and Peugeot 307 for 97-11 WRC and Celica for A-group.

Hyundai Accent, Skoda Octavia, Suzuki SX4, Lancer WRC, Escort WRC, Mazda 323 and some lower level older cars would be also nice but those three mentioned earlier are way more important cars in rally histor

  6. The price will be the deciding factor as to whether the expansion is a win or a loss. Btw, the two smaller DLCs will not only contain two new stages, but also new cars and perhaps a few other things that will be revealed at a later date.

  7. I find it crazy that Dirt 2.0 punished you when you hit a fence, then finding yourself in a field in NZ or Sweet Lamb and having to rediscover a route to the road, whereas now the most flimsy of roadside furniture is as solid as a concrete wall. Sounds are a bit suspect also. An S8 Impreza sounds remarkably bland in replay mode. A provision for 1 fastest pace notes should also have been made to make this an all encompassing rally game

  8. We also need to remember that not a lot is happening in the championship right now. It’s slowly dying so that’s another reason they didn’t go ahead with a brand new game but chose an expansion pack instead. I would personally like to see some immersion moments like cars stopped on the side of the road etc.

  9. For me it really depends on the next few dlc and crucially the price. I personally think that keeping the game up to date with each years cars should be free considering that three of the new cars ar just reskins of the old ones. If the next few dlc actually add some new cars like the toyota celica and some classic rallies like the RAC then i think it would be worth paying for the dlc, but for now unless its affordable somewhere in the realm of 20 pounds im not sure it would be worth it

  10. I am excited for the expansion but yeah the "5 new cars" when its only 1 is very misleading and should be corrected. The only good thing about all this is we will be getting new cars in the 2 future dlc's as mentioned in the website so fingers crossed we get some cool modern and old rally cars…

  11. It's not a let down. It's fair nothing more , nothing less. The car selection is already big enough, I play the game a lot and haven't drive all cars yet. For me, I wish for more graphics update and immersion details, like podium celebration, DNF cars standing by the road and so on.
