  1. Matchmaking in Wild Rift has always been “ polemic “

    the main reason why Riot is MILES away from being able to “ fix “ ranked is because they aren’t focused on the REAL PROBLEM.

    Matchmaking in Wild Rift is very similar to League PC so why does it feel like it doesn’t work at all compared to league?

    Simple: Wild Rift rank system is HORRIBLE, it’s the main factor why games look unplayable 90% of the time for SoloQ players with high stats, let me explain:

    In Wild Rift you ALWAYS receive + 1 or -1 points, DOESNT MATTER if your intentional lost the game or carried 1vs9, everyone gets rewarded the same way.

    This system doesn’t encourage players “ improving “

    It actually does the opposite, why? Simple.

    Just like League we have MMR based accounts right?

    Good performance = higher MMR

    Bad performance = lower MMR

    Why does players with terrible stats have 60% win rate and players with outstanding stats have 40% win rate?

    Because your MMR is super above everyone else on that rank ( due to the non sense +1 or -1 system )

    Matchmaking spaghetti code it’s doing its job properly, the problem is THE PLAYERS being placed on elos they DONT deserve thanks to the non “ skill based “ system….

    Riot, if you really want to make a proper matchmaking it is very simple. ( I believe all community agree with this )

    Give players INDIVIDUAL rewards based on performances!!! This automatically fix the “ matchmaking “ problem! I don’t mind waiting 10 minutes for a game, all I want is to feel that I’m actually playing ranked, not spamming a game expecting to have a good match….

    Trolls afks BLA BLA? U guys wouldn’t even get bothered by these since by giving players individual rewards, they would get stuck in Iron IV instead of being boosted into Master ranks.

    Matchmaking it’s working “ properly “ be giving both teams 50% change of winning…

    Now imagine being a support player with 90% MVP rate, what type of players will I get to balance my changes of winning to 50%? If I don’t have time to spam the game? How can I climb and be able to play a “ proper game “?

    This can be fixed just focus on the main problem….
