  1. I just downloaded the game and find that the driving feels quite loose in all types of surfaces. I don’t have a direct drive wheel. Any suggestions on what I should do to get more feel for the triad when driving. Thanks in advance for the help.

  2. This, along with an updated nvidia driver fixed a lot of issues. I love this game so far but the graphics has a lot to be desired, so thank you so much you are awesome!!

  3. I was not going to bother, lack of triple support, and no udp for my motion. I could not help my self at first I was getting massive stuttering but some how it’s calm right down now the more I play it. Ffb when setup right it dose feel very very good. I would say it could be one of the best rally sims out there. My absolute biggest problem is grip there’s just so much when you don’t need it, if you can brake the grip it gets grip so fast and can actually make a mess of things mostly in air pins on tarmac if anyone wants to test. It’s not a simcade imo forza/gt7
Is simcade you can’t just jump in to wrc and go flying around. Just a few little problems in the physics. But I got to say I’m really enjoying it!!

  4. So it seems the game is optimized for DLSS and Nvidia GPUs.
Running ultra settings with AMD leads to stable fps but random stutters and it seems the graphics, even with fsr off, are worse

  5. Thanks for sharing this man… I run it on an RX 6900XT but have been struggling with quality.. I guess I need to lower Anisotropic even though normally there is no excuse for needing to lower anything on 1440p with the GPU I own… I mean seriously, 16GB of overclocked VRAM should be EASILY at 100fps on 1440p ultra… but in all max settings 1440p I dip below 60 on some stages… which is ridiculous imo… also this game is very Nvidia friendly from what I've seen and hates AMD… hope this will be fixed with new drivers from AMD…

But I've noticed that Anisotropic filtering really kills performance in this game… also my game has a bug where using FSR or Temporal upscaler makes the FPS lower and not higher… which is really really weird… I was trying to up the FPS by using FSR and I was looking at my screen stunned… then I took it off and went from 70 to 80 fps with no upscaler and I was just shocked… I was just looking at it with a wtf face…

Praying for the day 1 performance patch to be good… cause I'm really really REALLY hooked by this game… seriously can see myself playing this every single day for months… and the career mode is really fun…

  6. Thanks for the info. The game has been fantastic but performance is a bit disappointing. I am able to stay above 60 fps (usually around 70-80) but that is not great when you own a high refresh rate monitor. I would be ok with it if the game looked impressive (but tbh it really doesn't) or if it was utlizing my hardware which it isn't. Doing some testing of my own it feels like it hits a hard CPU bottleneck and when that happens the GPU and graphics settings become irrelevant. Chopping my resolution in half or dropping graphics settings to ultra low won't give me higher framerates :(.

My CPU isn't some kind of beast, just a 6-core ryzen 3600X but a friend with the same GPU and a 12 core beast ryzen 5900X gets the same exact performance (only with even lower CPU utilisation) and that isn't normal. Something to do with UE4 I suspect sadly…

  7. Applying your settings got my career back on track. Thank you! I also had shaders turned down to medium just because I figured it was an inherent Unreal engine issue. Don't know what setting did the job (or what combination of settings) but finally got past the CTDs in Monte Carlo.

  8. my pc is rly good apart from my poor gtx 1050ti that is below the minimum requirements and i can feel that, im on ultra low on everything and barely hitting 60fps average but the worst thing are the crashes UE has, wrc crashed 14 times in 18 hours of my playtime. Im still in love with that game tho, its wonderful

  9. Most graphical options have a surprisingly mild impact on performance. Vegetation and shadows especially are not the FPS killer you would expect (which is a good thing considering max setting is not that impressive). On the other hand some seemingly innocuous settings like car reflection and mirrors will butcher your fps, steal your money and kill your cat, even on low. Made me cpu limited with a 5900x ! Disable them before testing anything else. What's the use of mirrors in a rally game anyway 🙂 ? On a side note FSR produces some funky shit; being extremely sharp and quite good sometime, and a blurry mess the next time you activate it. All in all, with a few settings hammered down and everything else on max, I manage low 1% around 100 fps on a Samsung G9 powered by a 3080. Not the prettiest sim but totally acceptable.

  10. Running very poorly on my system sadly. FFB does feel great now that I got my Moza R12 working ( took a bit of work ). I tried Kenya in the MK2 Escort and it felt absolutely amazing, I started number 109/120 and the grooves in the road really caught the car and it was tough to hold on, really had to work hard to drive. Loved it! The rear steps out a lot more than in DR2 so RWD cars do feel more alive. Is it a proper sim? No, Is it enjoyable? Heck yes!. Just have to wait for the stuttering to get fixed =/
