My whole guild has the new saurus mount, no one spent a dime, we all just emptied our ingame coffers a bit, and to that point, many players did that and the mount served its purpose. I also don't really use the AH feature of the mount, i guess years of using my mage as an AH mule is still strong within me.
if you do the math, its cheaper than the original BFA long boy. Even with the increase in token prices it is still cheaper. Talking to people that bought wow tokens to buy the original mount, they spent $700 irl to buy the bfa long boy. You can farm the gold, wait for the token price to go down, just like it always does and buy it with gold. Its not pay to play, if a quality of life improvement. If you dont have it, it really doesnt take much to go to town and use the ah. Yes $90 is high, but lets use the math skills, Original long boy 5million = $700 irl depending on the cost of tokens at thetime.
