  1. overtuning dungeons, some of the worst class balancing, and bugged abilities and talents, and returning to catering to the top 3% over the rest of the player base. THAT is why people are mad

  2. a long time ago during vanilla wow i told blizzard that dota and battle tanks both warcraft 3 hero maps were a multi million dollar game if they make it its own game i got a 2 week ban, when flying was first released i told them flying was a bad idea imagine 10th expansion lvl 100 1 million hp swoop down do 1 million dmg to a lvl 40 with 400 hp and flying off they will regret it later i got another 2 week ban. now dota is making millions and draenor they wanted to take out flying i was right , its great to see how right i was and how wrong blizzard was, still to this day there are assholes like piratesoftware games that still like to ban me, im the guy who said yea but i heard sweet baby inc was blackmailing people into using their services and dude said my uncle works for nintendo see how dumb that sounds banned me and told mods to ban anyone who disagrees with sweet baby inc. boy i was right about that one too lol all blizz retards just dont get it when you try to help them out then they do and say some dumb crap. but thats ok i been quiet for awhile and just watching them burn themselves now its the payers fault lol /popcorn

  3. Umm, Preach is right. The engines unstable now for content over a certain amount of players and that needs addressing. But be aware – "player base" can't figure a simple thing out such as an Azuregos group that says WARMODE ON ONLY, in caps, for a constant stream of warmode off people asking to join then saying – where is everybody?

  4. keep in mind.. people are making private servers making content that the fans wanted and listen to the community making them happy and explaining to them the limitations when possible and people understand… and blizzard could do the same.. they should be also looking into popular private servers and seeing what makes it work and use that..

  5. used a 60 day card awhile back played maybe 1 week, did not buy the expansion and am letting the card run out I think it ends by the end of this month and I have no interest in playing. Had the card laying around, I should have given it away to someone still playing.

  6. Blamming the community and without the community, the game would be literally unplayable. Community does half of the job in this game, developing mods/addons to cover the big UI design hole that Blizzard has FOR FREE, just to mention something.

  7. For me as a lore player, this tweet IS correct in saying its the players fault since this Youtuber also arguments everything from the point of gearing —- blizz wanna tell a story, about world souls and in this vain crystal, the siren isle is a good plot bead for telling that story —- and gearing in general is supposed to be THE TOOL to get to experience the story, but yall make it the aim and not the tool, and that's the fundamental flaw….. This is not diablo2 or any ARPG where it is all about the items and the RNG to get the items, to get even more items to change ur build to get further items —- no, this is a MMORPG… fighting is just a side activity in the path laid out before you

  8. If they want to claim they aren't pulling in enough money to fund the development, why are Blizzard profit margins up? Show us the books, and we'll have no problem tearing that dev's dented take apart…. Another issue, is looking at SoD…. NO ONE asked them to add in a bunch of game imbalancing runes or add the gear in a lvl 25 raid that was literally better than normal vanilla wow MC and BWL gear…. They just did that…. and as a result, the numerical balance went absolutely bonkers, requiring them to waste dev time trying to rebalance the entire rest of the game just to handle all the numerical inflation. Or when they wasted however many man hours replacing in game art with pictures of bowls of fruit because some Karen somewhere got miffed about it.

Fact is, other companies are getting far more done, with far less resources. Hell, the best version of vanilla/classic/classic+ right now is being run by a very small team of independent coders running a private server, and they added a ton of content, constantly make balancing patches, ACTUALLY BAN BOTS, and are reskinning the entire game into another graphics engine for next year. We can compare Turtle WoW's budget and resources with Blizzard's anytime. One of them is getting it done, the other is Blizzard.

  9. About the mount being on the store — THAT IS A BLESSING FOR EVERYONE cuz it forces its GOLD price to be lower than it would NEED TO BE (i.e. higher than the other brutosaur cuz this one has unique functionality, so something like 7million maybe?). Since real money and wow gold have a relation via the token, its real money price cant be set at something that would equate to these 7million cuz that would be over 300 dollar, vice versa its (actually) outlandish price of 90 bucks translates only to two-ish million gold.
    TLDR, summary:
    – mount purely ingame would make it far more unobtainable in terms of gold grind
    – mount added to the store makes ingame earning the mount an actual goal instead of a delusion
    – the mount is NOT expensive since it would need to cost 300 dollar to be in line with the other brutasaur, but 90 buck for nonexisting pixels IS insane

  10. I have played wow for 20 years now, I started when I was 34, and through it all, if I didn't like the content, I didn't play. I feel for the developers, in the since, they are trying to appease corporate and game clients and no matter what they put out, someone is there to complain and point fingers. So, my point? Don't play it if you don't like it to the point all you do is complain about it, seems to me spending 15$ a month to play something you don't like is a complete waste of money, but, it is your money.

  11. Qbout the AirBnB…that makes no sense what u say… Just because u have a pic of something before it broke has no casual link nor proof that it was not broken afterwards even by urself. Furthermore it would e be very suspicious if u took a photo of a specific installation and incidentally exactly that installation of which u took an evidence picture to defend urself (as if u know that will become necessary) did brake later somehow

  12. If two things are constant with this game it's 2 things: everyone you ask tells you how bad the game is and how it's a series of failures and it's an endless stream of record breaking sales and a huge cash cow for Blizzard with a subscription model and a profitable ingame shop.
So, yeah… I get how the devs get frustrated about being told they're doing everything wrong while their management tells them whatever they do they should keep doing. 😅

  13. He's actually not completely wrong. Consumers are absolutely the problem in modern society. Most people who complain provide zero actual critical thought towards actual solutions. Many people complain no matter what.
    .
I actually completely understand where they are coming from. Unfortunately, there are some of us who ARE critical thinkers, and who do ALWAYS try to provide alternative solutions when presenting problems. But we are the minority. Most people in society do not do this. Those idiots are ruining it for the rest of us. No corporation should take criticism seriously with an average 95 IQ society… However, if we were able to separate that criticism between low IQ idiots and actual critical thinkers able to pinpoint and solve real issues… progress could be made… but not only is that difficult to do. Solving problems might not even be what those 95 IQ idiots actually want. They don't even know what they want. His point on that was spot on too.
    .
We can yell and complain about this stuff, but his statement is actually kind of accurate. A lot of corporations are going through the same thing. Society is mostly degenerate idiots who have no clue what they want, but they are the ones with disposable income controlling the market. It's a catch 22. Most corporations just shut up and deal with it. Which is definitely the wiser choice. However, what this man said is not wrong…

  14. Was easy leveling during Early Access and then them removing it the playerbases fault? Class balance? Hero Spec design? Timewalking scaling where if you arent level 80 you blow everyone out of the water? Chromie whatever that joke of a content was?

This is just californian company bs. Its the same thing that Hollywood has been doing, blaming the fans and viewers for their failure.

  15. One of the classes has so many bugs that I ran out of fingers to count, and I have to use some toes too and one class I ran out of fingers and toes to count.

  16. He is right. These so called gamers who complain about everything are the worse kind of people in the World for anything.
We find many games in which 70% of the community likes the game and want the game to go on, but those 30% stupid people who complain about EVERYTHING wreck our experience, demanding like stupid people they are that the game cater to their own vision. We are forced to go as loud as they are in manifesting what we like about the game, because people like the host and many others thing for some reason they are owners of reason and know what the game should be.

  17. Yeah that was a degenerate post on devs end. What moron. Guess they should consider a more professional approach, ie look at their player base, look at what the majority is, understand the “man hours” played, transients vs loyalists, and make decisions based on the highest value demographic. What do they like, if i were to guess, its players like me, who have been playing since BC or Wrath, maybe even vanilla. Well then, what were they drawn to? Is that replicable? Whats the best modern equivalent of that?
I for one loved the story, the dark gritty wars of the orcs and humans and demons and undead and all that good stuff. There was none of that in DF, not sure whats going on in TWW, anyways, to me, i loved wow, when it was just that, the wow and great story and dramatic yet funny characters and interactions. There was no political agenda, which there clearly is now, and i hate that, the fact that it can even be found in the game is … disappointing.
Anyways, there is a lot that can/could be done, i am also a M+ player, personally i dont feel that the M+ is on a good track. Some changes were excellent imo, like addition of old dungeons, and hell, ill take those with the bugs, its worth.
But on the flip, the affixes are underwhelming (was last good in SL w prideful and encrypted, those allowed creative & rewarding plays), and the loot system has been garbage, making key item targeting impossible unless you funnel and drops rare and dumb (boots 4x from holdings when it is the only good piece you already have, as an example).
There are always trolls in forums and tube, but in game, i rarely encounter anyone who thinks the loot system is satisfying and good, nor affixes fun.
Just some examples from me personally, my guild and people I run with. I know these issues are brought up a lot, but nothing really changes.
The M+ difficulty with the increase in healer and tank responsibility, who thought that was a good idea?
When the announcement was made, content creators (many 0.1%ers and group players) were thoughtful of “how it could still work”. That is very different from “wow this is great, will be a fantastic launch &S1”.
This is not very nuanced if you think of it, when the paid and supported people are not excited, or worse yet, point out that it is rough, probably wont play out well with the average disorganized pug, which is also… 99% of the player base, give or take.
Nah, i think the dev just has his dead up his ass, truth be told, there is a lot they could do and many many clues. More so, they could just play the game more, enter into groups and chat w players, see what the tone and feel is like.
    That was a weak post.
