what isnt clear to me is if i need to go to the fresh realms to experience TBC later or if the current classic era realms will be able to move to TBC too

Only the announcements of retail are certain, those of classic are wishful thinking.

Give fresh vanilla or fresh TBC and dump all R&D in a classic plus project. Print money while making something to print a lot more money.

– MoP Classic is almost guaranteed considering Blizz can’t help themselves
– OFC they’ll talk SoD after Naxx, they don’t want people jumping ship when it’s at the highest player count in 11 months
– Fresh progression servers running simultaneously with fresh Hardcore seems like a pipe dream
– Nothing new mentioned for Retail

They need to just stop with MoP Classic. Barely anyone wanted Cata classic and its so dead. Just give the classic fanbase what they want, a fresh Era server is always good, and just commit to Classic+ and LISTEN to the community, SoD was mostly a miss, but had potential
A Fresh Classic server will get me to sub again
I mean you can’t have that much of the trailer of the original trilogy, have illidan and LK on the cover but photo and not give us some TBC and Wrath stuff of some sort

I don't really care about anything they do now, from the existing practice I know that the people at Blizzard can't make good stuff, and they're nowhere near aligned with what classic Andys like
