So is this a hotfix out now? Or is it coming with the patch tuesday?
Basically no change for me as I only do world content and T8 delves. Perhaps my toons can now increase at 0.38 ilevel per week instead on 0.19. Woohoo! Would do t9 delves (or perhaps higher) on some toons if the rewards were better. A few more runed crests and a higher % drop rate of maps from chests and Zek'vir dropping in would be nice – guaranteed from Zek'vir would be even better – as opposed to 1/3 of the time not even leaving his claw behind, giving you nothing.
M+ IS a joke. Here comes more toxicity. Yay….
At least you don’t have to do 100 +8’s to catch up an alt. Oh nevermind it is the same.

Its nice, but what would make me actually want to do this is if crafted gear could be turned in to tier. Cause i have little interest in that tiny bit of more power. The only reason I want hero 5 is cause of the transmog not cause Id be more powerful.
I have been out of the game for some time, will I be able to use the crests earned in season 1 in season 2 or will they be reset?

So they're not gonna increase crests for Delvers? Guess I'll continue to play Classic instead.
It is not a massive win for all, it is a massive loss. Do you prefer to progress gear by raiding? Delves? Too bad, you have to do M+ because they're the loudest, stupidest community with the lowest skill level, so they demand blizzard give them the easiest path with greatest reward. The sooner that crowd leaves WoW and MMORPGs in general, the sooner we can go back to having a good game.
It’s a step in the right direction, but it still feels more like a bandaid than a solution. We’ll have to see if fewer people abandon groups that won’t time the key.

Gilded crests not dropping from Tier 11 Delves is why i left this Season. I picked up TWW based off of the advertised Alt friendliness and Delves being "it's own End Game Pillar" in WoW. Giving Delve Players Heroric track gear but not all the tools necessary to fully upgrade the gear in Delves is such a HUGE L. Why on earth do Delve Players have to do a completely different End Game pillar to fully upgrade our gear?? That's like forcing PvPers to do Heroic Raids for their conquest gear. Such a typical Blizzard move. Pillars STAND ON THEIR OWN.
This isnt going to fix the underlying issues with m+. People are still going to drop because bads expect everyone to play perfectly, even in lower keys. It's great for a group to break up in a +4 because of one wipe.

Maybe I missed it, but did Blizzard Nerf delve maps? I haven't gotten any since week 3 of TWW. I run 16-24 bountiful delves a week between my alt and statistically, I should have gotten at least 1 if they truly are a 4% drop rate from each side chest.
I just traded up all my crests last night…. 😭😭😭😭

At first I read the title as "huge Incest buff". Oof, I read too much about islam recently.
Why do you guys promote thus like the crumbs are a massive win? The huge issue with mythic + is key depletion which promote toxic community and push everyone to the meta and prefer players with high io and ilvl over guild's and friends for fear of failure. The reward of 50 gold is poor enough but to punish players ontop of it by depleting the key is stupid design. This is a GAME not some chore or job. It should be FUN. Your sending blizzard the wrong signals as content creators when you say this is a win and yet the whole system is still broken. I shouldn't be afraid to play a key with friends who aren't as skilled because I'm afraid they'll tank it or I shouldn't have to fear taking noneta classes. If you don't time it you don't get additional rewards but don't punish me ontop of that by deranking my key. Maybe randomize it to a new dungeon if you don't want me spamming the same one each time it goes bad (as if repeating on failure isn't exactly what mythic raid is about) but don't deplete my key unless I choose to (add an option to drop the difficulty level on failure or keep it as is, give players some agency). You're chearing on your cruel task master for finally throwing you some crumbs from the table. You're just in for more abuse.
Honestly, the changes to mythic+ won't really do much to solve the problems with the system. People will still leave, killing keys, they will still NOT be fun for tanks or healers, and the mismatch in difficulty and reward between m+ and delves is still far too great. I think Blizz just listened to m+ runners doing 10+ keys and ignored the many players who no longer run m+ because lower level keys are pretty blah. The rot in the system goes far deeper than one quick fix (demanded by all high-level players and content creators but not really by the vast majority of actual players).
Just make more runed crests drop from delves for us casuals!
