You need to try the cata classic realm. You play in the original continents, condensed, and easy as hell. Vanilla was hard because the game did not hold your hand. That is what made it fun, every discovery you made for yourself. No wowhead, no YouTube, you found it. What you are requesting is exactly what cata was and why they did it. Everyone wanted the changes until they got them.

The difficulty and challenges are what made wow vanilla good, and what makes classic better than retail, so no they shouldnt nerf it or make it any easier.
