#leagueoflegends #rewind #retrospective
I remember season 4 like was yesterday because it was when I started playing league of I looked videos on YouTube to learn about it and when I finally installed i learned that they completely changed the summoners rift map so i had to relearn the everything again 🙄
Season 4 was the time I joined League. In time for the old map. I got to see all these changes. I became a CLG supporter. The TSM rivalry is still my favourite. I enjoy the game today even if snowballing is insane, everything one shots, and everyone has crazy dashes and CC.
Happy birthday Nickyboi!!!
I wish you could talk more about broken builds on other champions.
13:44 BRUH IT WAS XERATH WHO KILLED THOUSANDS
Im only here for ur opinion on gnar
I started League after Braums release. To this day his theme music reminds me of my early days in the rift. And shortly after they released Azir! I was so fucking excited. To this day Braum and Azir are some of my favourite champions to play
Season 4 was when Karthus got his VU, that's all that mattered to me lol
ah yes. I do remember the day windshitter was released.
and a thousand mentally dimwitted weebs rejoiced.
Use of MHrise music nice
I remember starting league when ekko was the login screen, and i think season 4 was either about to start or end. I can't remember anymore. I've been playing this game for too long. xD. Most of the champs at the beginning of this video were released while I was still in high school.
I didn't like playing Braum until I did double support bot lane with my friend playing Nautilus. I launch Q, he hooks. I E to him to get in close, and after one hit, they're already hit with concussive blows
i can never hear braum's theme the same nowadays
gotta love the internet
Smh azir was going to announce freezing the slaves right after he ascended because if he did it before, he's get made into a caesar salad by the country full of arisocrats whod want him dead now. Which they would be unable to do if he became a tyranical god warrior first
when i started, the best age of league of legends
Braum doesn't take that much skill (the basic tricks are easy enough to figure out, like flash -> jump -> ult etc).
What's more difficult is getting the synergy, and it rarely happens with randoms. Play premade bot with a diamond+ adc and it's godlike.
The Bauss literally made Inting Sion so good that Riot indirectly and directly nerf the chap into oblivion xD.
Braum gameplay is amazing, tbh i didnt like him at first
GOD few things have been with me for as long as this game was those were softer days
we uh just going to gloss over how busted azir release was?
i still think that league's OG artstyle had more flair, but goddamnit it wouldn't have gotten ANYWHERE NEAR the amount of success it does now if it held on for longer than S4
it's prolly just nostalgia anyways but hey, there's nothing wrong with that.
Something you forgot to mentioned about azir, as an azir main
Back in the day it was impossible to play him for varius not because he was hard but because
– as soon as you locked him people would dodge (people thought he was garbage)
-you would get flamed but just picking him
-people would report you for simply playing him.
-every patch he was nerfed.
-everyone would compare him to zed
But oh boy i remember you carried or pulled a good combo everyone would loose their shit or stay shocked. Which definitely was a great feeling
Absolutely love how you present the champions with thier themes in these videos.
WAIT, I JUST REALIZED; We share a birthday dude! Happy Belated Birthday
Braum was my main back when I played league. I had like a 70% win rate with him. He is cool!
15:34
huh
gee
looks at the 30+ champions that have had this happen to them.
you think?
I had that exact same feeling with Azir. Something about his gameplay was addicting
Too bad I SUCKED with him
Idk why, but i find Braum gameplay enjoyable! Perfect teamfight ultimate, stun EVERYONE (when your team cooperates), and oh my gosh it's so satisfying blocking enemy projectiles n ADCs entirely
When people say what Azir is a tyrant… I just don't understand.
People didn't dread a lore about him or what?
He is obviously a arrogant, but he always serves for Shurima people, not himself. He cares about his own people in the first place.
Even Riot himself said what he is a real good guy what made terrible mistakes, because of his pride.
NickyBoi where do you download the animated splash art with theme that you play before each champion you discuss?
I also played Azir, but because he is visually my favourite champ. But I lost all my games and because of that played someone in Azirs Lore: Xerath. For the reason of him being an important part of Azirs Lore I am Xerath OTP now.
Gnar is my precious little baby and I will hurt anyone who harms him
No no, I want seasons 1 thru 3
I'm not sure why but when he was on yasuo and said damage type, I was really hoping for the following:
"damage type: brain"
As for champs that you don't really like but also don't really dislike, I don't really have those. I can enjoy playing almost any champion. My problem is that the only role that I can play at any real level is ADC. I used to be a solid jungler as well, but so many years away from the role has caused all of my intelligence and knowledge of jungle pathing and how to do the things to atrophy into complete bottom-of-the-barrel monkey brain. So I'm left with a lot of champions that I find really fun and really enjoy playing, but I just can't play because of how absolute dog water I am at their role or at the champion themselves.
Kled is in this group, and while I may not play him anymore, back before I became a ranked player, I played the occasional top lane and I had one game where I picked him and had an absolute blast. The enemy top laner was Amumu, and keep in mind that this was in ye olden days before he could double stun. The enemy team also had a Rengar jungle. I proceeded to body them so hard that, despite the fact that my lane was a permanent 2v1, I was legendary by 15 minutes and soloing the entire enemy team by 25. No joke, I got a 1v5 pentakill this game. My entire team and I were hovering around the baron pit. My thought was "We should engage on and kill the enemy team before we take baron just to make sure that there's 0 chance that they steal it." So I pressed R, and I went in. And my teammates were like "Eh, he'll be fine" and started taking baron. I then forcibly removed the entire enemy team from my lawn in the time that it took the other 4 players on my team to take Baron. It was great.
But yeah, I have a lot of champions that I think are fun and would love to play, but I just can't play either them or their role well enough to make me feel like it's worth playing them. Just locking them in knowing that I'm probably going to lose sucks, because while losing can be fun, it's really not when you're going 0/20 in a 25 minute game and your entire team is yelling at you and telling you a million different ways to remove yourself.
Honestly, it's been so long since 2014 that I feel like it's impossible for Vel'Koz and Azir to have released in the same year. I genuinely thought Vel'Koz was a 2010-2012 champion because of how terrible his kit is.
Yasuo was one of the reasons I played this game less and less until I eventually quit. My friends occasionally drag me back for a bit, but the game has changed so much that I ended up getting farmed even harder because I knew basically none of the new champs and items lmao
