I show you what I did in order to install the prerequisites for the World of Warcraft to be playable on Linux Mint. You may have another distro such as Ubuntu or so and it should work.
There is a video on YT that I point to and show you the script which I had used. I had previously gone through Lutris due to a downloading error through the launcher and bypassed it. Now it seems that the regular battlenet launcher is now downloading for me instead of erroring every few seconds interrupting the download so that I was not able to play the game.
