  1. My narration this time was definitely too 'shouty' – sorry about that, next time my voice will sound the best it ever has!

In the middle of redecorating and everything is all over the place at the moment, but when that's all done I'll get everything reorganised, recalibrated and ready to go.

This video is definitely shorter than usual – truth is I'm working on something significantly bigger, and wanted to release this to maintain regularity.

Spring is just around the corner – have a good one!

  2. Oh, and cool to see these paladin-only stuff, I had no idea the Paladins got a preview of the Defias Brotherhood already in this quest, a bit like the rogues in SI:7! Serves me right for maining a warrior.

  3. I am glad that you were able to cut down on the "less important" stuff, still pointing out a "Here was a side-quest collecting red cloth" and so on. It is an improvement and I think my comment was at least a guiding finger. Cheers!

  4. Well done, Verigan. When I watch your videos, I feel what I love about WoW. Thank you for your work. I usually don't post comments or give likes, but this video earned it 🙂 (and previous work from you did, too)

  5. Ah yes, the classiest quest. The one were you get a red linen shirt to replace your ugly brown sweater.
I remember always running around with that thing on, even if its color and brightness clashed majorly with the rest of my armaments.
The only redemption to that horrible fashion choice was hitting up a tailor and asking for a plain white shirt.

  6. As someone that's new to WoW, you absolutely are the best video maker that I've found so far. Really interesting hearing about the lore most people spam click through

  7. Love the video! I'm curious what addon it is for the quest interface, it looks a lot better than the default quest ui and i would be more inclined to read quest text if i had this same look. Thanks!

  8. I always look forward to your videos. It's such a big nostalgia trip, and the way you present your videos manages to capture the awe and wonder i had when I played a paladin as a teenager.

  9. I wonder if fixing that "Stormwind sleepiness" could be done by creating fewer layers in major cities, go outside and the usual amount exist but once in the city only 4 or 5 layers exist. The next change would be contraversal as I would move the bank and auction house around. Or create "class specific banks and auction houses" that are in their correct spots of the city. They'd still all go to the same database, everyone can still buy and sell with one another, but your class has to interact with your class specific seller. The rogues have to go to the SI:7 banker, the Mages go to the Mage banker in the mage tower, etc. But I bet people would hate that, less efficiency, but would be more role playable.

  10. Verrigan's UI bother's me so much. I raid on retail with an addon that makes my UI look like classic. It is a mod maintained by a player because blizzard decided the classic UI was not worth maintaining. Not enough people care to use it.

  11. My idea was always to purposely design the city to lack convenience intentionally to initiate travel and movement around the city. Have the Trade District be for trade, have the bank over by the Dwarven District instead of in Trade, Make the mailboxes nowhere near trade and instead have it in a central Mail room as oppose to a box (Save boxes for smaller settlements) and have them in a sort of triangular or box like placement to encourage 'loops' and 'routines'.
Never cave to the demands of convenience if your goal is to make things more populated and alive.

  12. Vanilla WoW is like, the perfect video game. It's like your favorite blanket. Always comfortable, always there for you. In some form. (Blizzard can't stop Private Servers)

  13. Nothing adds as much to the class fantasy than class specific quests like these. Speaking to your fellow Paladins and undertaking tasks specific to their interests make even simple objectives feel so rich.
