In this video I cover the origin of the tauren who started as a race known as the yaungol. I cover their relationship with Cenarius and the capture by the Mogu Empire. After that I go over their freedom and the split into the yaungol, tauren and the taunka. Lastly I cover their current state and their characteristics.

For some reason i always figured the Tauren are the fleshy version of the Mogu. Just like how humans and dwarves also came from stone creatures.

For any who don't know, Taunka is a play on the Lakota word Tatanka which means Buffalo bull, or also a great Buffalo spirit
