looks terrible. way worse than I thought after hearing that this game was good. The car is frickin floating over the surface! A very smooth and predictable surface. Looks like a mobile game in 4K.

The ffb options on sc2 pro dont even work. Only the suspension and torque alignment sliders do anything…. ANYTHING ! The rest are placebo.
Also no telemetry and vr support on release.
Yet another half baked game released before compketion with empty promises.
Game devs are becoming like politicians these days. Im so disappointed in this title, codies and ea.
Always liked KT Racing’s WRC better than Dirt Rally. Was sad to see them go. This looks like another Dirt Rally.

2023 and Still developers are so damn uncapable or lazy . really amazed… game looks good, and fun, but as simple "realistic" thing as adding gravle/stone sounds hitting the car as you drive is not in the game at all it seems.. sounds very floaty.. not even close to dirt rally 2.
Surfaces though… snow on bitumen not slippery or delayed. Hmmm

I love the wrc and dirt 2.0, sadly it still seems like 2.0 will remain supreme in a good few areas but this definitely still seems like a fun and good rally game, tbh tho if dirt rally 2.0 had a career mode like wrc it would literally be the best rally game ever, this seems to be the closest we're getting to that at least for now.
Please, can we play on Windows 11 or not ?
Some of those pace notes seem impossible to parse.
Granted im still driving fwd fiestas in DR2.0 so maybe im not used to the speed.
the Snow and Rain effect is not good on the glas.
Is it just me or does the handling seem a bit weird?
these people who made this game… they have never set foot on a track… (not get inside the car… but not even go on track) Let me explain…
1. the cars go through a million bumps… and the car looks like it move on the smoothest surface made of glass….
2. the car drives on SNOWY asphalt and its turning like its on rails…
3. wrong line picked its TOTALLY unforgiving… a bit of brake and the car turns the correct way no matter how slippery it is… understeer does not exist….
4. absolute lack of environment physics… example The car touches the pile of snow on the side of the road… and it just loses 15km or whatever and keeps going… when in FACT in reality it would have bend the wheel and explode a pile of snow in the air and the bumper would be totally destroyed and dragged…
2023… just a ton of beauty… typical… no one likes an unforgiving sim… u got to sell these and make people happy…
Just awesome work, guys! I've been waiting such kind of game for many years as a huge Dirt Rally fan. Please add russian language as subtitles if it will be possible. You don't even know how much people love rally in CIS – the roads in our countries are almost the same)

I hope they have soft lock as a steering option like they did in the DR games. It really makes you notice the difference in the steering from old to new cars. You have to work that wheel in the old cars. Also I like when you have a manual car, it forces you to use the shifter. 2 little things that make a big difference to the immersion for me.

Looks like the steering wheel does a full turn, unlike the previous games which made them harder to get into for me.
I hope EA let us pc players play this game on high graphics settings without any crashes as we have in Forza Motorsport…

@EASPORTSWRC, It seems to me that the camera is very static. There is no sensation of the suspension working in the first person view and it also seems to me that the sensation and speed do not correspond. Not a fan of the third-person view, but in this view the car also looks quite static. it seems too stable and here the sensation of speed is even stranger, it seems slow in general. Graphically it's not very surprising. Interior lighting does not react linearly with exterior conditions. It doesn't really give the feeling of having a windshield in front of the driver. Maybe the problem is that I'm too demanding… These days you can't expect anything other than the best quality
The graphics are a little weak. A small thing like missing headlight shadows has a huge impact. Where are they?
