  1. Rogue hero talents are looking so aesthetically weak… Death Knights get summon the four horseman riders, Paladins get falling hammers from the sky. And rogues… we get a lame little coin flip. What a joke

  2. Assassination main here. Strongly dislike this tree. The last thing I want is Outlaw's RNG. You will always want Heads during your Deathmark/Kingsbane. That's the only time you do damage. There will be pulls where you get Heads and you're happy, and pulls where you don't, and that will suck.

  3. You were talking about between the eyes over dispatch. When you are stealthed/ dancing/ subterfuge your between the eyes does a reduced dispatch for free with a talent. I'm assuming that would still flip a coin. Spec sounds kinda interesting, it's guaranteed to cause tilt and some insane high rolls.

  4. I think this is a huge flavor win. After going through the whole tree, it seems a little less RNG than it comes off at first; I'm sure if, instead of just saying "x percentage", you replaced it with "chance to proc", we wouldn't feel like it was as RNG as it is, even if that's exactly what it is. Excited to see how this one develops.

  5. I don't like the current outlaw build. Underhanded upperhand + crackshot is too OP and suffocating anything else. I don't like that playstyle.

  6. The coin flip sounds like a really bad mechanic. So for example u stack 5head then ur next finish move u get tail so u have to start all over again? Its just bad

  7. Casino rogue let's go. If the coin flip mechanic has a good audiovisual feedback, it'll be able to hit that dopamine craving. Otherwise, we won't be able to notice if we are high rolling or not.

  8. For the capstone:
    – the stat buff is +1%, additive. (If you have 30% crit, you now have 31% crit)

    – it does NOT stack

    – it’s probably worth around 5%, but also provides 1% leech and 1% avoidance (and 1% stamina)

    – it lasts until the end of a raid encounter, or end of an m+ pull. Once you drop combat, the 10 second timer starts. If you enter combat at any point during those 10 seconds, you keep the buff
    – there is no way to guarantee 7 stacks
    – with the Cold Blood talent, you can guarantee 6 stacks from opener, but still gamba for 7th

  9. Definitely was hoping you’d hit the dummy so we could see the coin animation. Also btw between the eyes automatically casts dispatch with it (per an outlaw talent) so you never have to worry about picking one or the other.

I also am a bit confused why all these other commenters are so mad about the “rng” flavor of these talents. When you have all your cds up (which is like 75% of the time on outlaw) you only need two of the same side in a row to automatically get to 7 and proc the capstone… you will be proccing it very regularly assuming ur not a bot and understand how the rotation works.

  10. Unfortunately, Fateful Ending doesn't stack. In current outlaw you can't really hold onto Adrenaline Rush as its balanced around having 100% uptime so you need to pop it whenever it's off cooldown. Cold Blood is also very lacklustre as outlaw, this tree is just forcing you to take it. The +damage when blade flurry is not up just seems weird, as a capped class it should be ok to increase it. At the end of the day, itll be balanced around having average-to-good rng so it'll just feel whatever to play, nothing very exciting. If there were times where you can really pop off and do crazy dam it might feel good, but that won't happen as blizz will reign it and neuter it. It will just end up feeling bad when you low roll.

  11. what is going on with rogue development? especially assassination, spec was left in dumpster for years , granted 10.2 rework did fix a lot of m+ issues but also introduced awful RNG and external depended gameplay in raid/ST and now we are getting even more rng and potentially even more degenerate gameplay via this hero tree? (not to mention that Trickster tree is one of the worst one so far) how is it ok to release this tree after getting feedback on Trickster???
iv been playing rogue since classic, almost exclusively assassination and recent changes just killed any joy of playing the game, i never played anything but rogue yet for war within if nothing changes i think ill just play ret…
