  1. I have the same model as the video and I currently run two accounts using sidecar to my iPad. Setting level 3 in Classic WoW and it runs okay (MacOs). The iPad is not as clear (9.7" 2018) display wise but still totally playable. Next I am going to try dual boot and see if there is a noticeable difference running it through windows using Duet to enable the second display.

  2. My boyfriend plays World of Warcraft and we’re debating whether or not he should switch to Mac because this is literally the third laptop that the charging port has failed on and he uses a PC… Is it worth it to get a Mac because they’re charging ports never ever ever fail?

  3. ok, so do you think the M1 will be better or worse? Cause I am thinking of buying one for my photography, but I want to play WOW too… let me know.
    My setup will be –
Apple M1 chip with 8‑core CPU, 8‑core GPU, and 16‑core Neural Engine

    16GB unified memory

    1TB SSD storage

13-inch Retina display with True Tone

Backlit Magic Keyboard – US English

    Touch Bar and Touch ID

Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports

  4. I have a problem when I play WOW with a Mac Book Pro retina 13 inches 2020 with intel core I5 and intel iris plus graphics I don't why but the image of the game is a little bit blurred when I play and it's very disagreeable is it due to the fact that Mc Book Pro has a retina screen so it impacts the image of the game ?

  5. Just to clarify as there’s been a recent influx of comments on this – the MacBook shown is the Intel I5, not the M1 Apple silicon version release in late 2020. However, I do have an M1 MacBook Air video up on the channel right now for anyone interested!

  6. Hi Archivist – have you ever used an EGPU? Do you have have advice for a Mac WoW player wanting to use a EGPU with the 2020 standard 13 inch MacBook Pro? thanks

  7. wouldn't it be better just to launch windows on the Mac? ISn't it called bootcamp?

A lot of the reasons performance is so much poorer on a Mac has a lot to do with software optimizations for the operating systems. Not actually the computer itself.

  8. Hello, I have a MacBook Pro 2020 i510th gen and i have a curious graphic issue after using the Touch Bar, a green bar appears on the screen. Do you have the same problem? I wonder if my gpu is damaged or is a client game fault. in wow classic I don't have the same problem.
