can u make a video by diablo 4?
I’m going to buy a MacBook Pro 2014 model on eBay , can I play wow on it?
Would the heat hurt the computer if i play for extended period of time very once in a while ? (like 1 week-end a month)
is this on bootcamp ?
I have the same model as the video and I currently run two accounts using sidecar to my iPad. Setting level 3 in Classic WoW and it runs okay (MacOs). The iPad is not as clear (9.7" 2018) display wise but still totally playable. Next I am going to try dual boot and see if there is a noticeable difference running it through windows using Duet to enable the second display.
What adaptor do you use for your mouse and keyboard?
My boyfriend plays World of Warcraft and we’re debating whether or not he should switch to Mac because this is literally the third laptop that the charging port has failed on and he uses a PC… Is it worth it to get a Mac because they’re charging ports never ever ever fail?
Absolutely outrageous that a Mac can’t stand up to WoW.
ok, so do you think the M1 will be better or worse? Cause I am thinking of buying one for my photography, but I want to play WOW too… let me know.
My setup will be –
Apple M1 chip with 8‑core CPU, 8‑core GPU, and 16‑core Neural Engine
16GB unified memory
1TB SSD storage
13-inch Retina display with True Tone
Backlit Magic Keyboard – US English
Touch Bar and Touch ID
Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports
This is funny
I have a problem when I play WOW with a Mac Book Pro retina 13 inches 2020 with intel core I5 and intel iris plus graphics I don't why but the image of the game is a little bit blurred when I play and it's very disagreeable is it due to the fact that Mc Book Pro has a retina screen so it impacts the image of the game ?
FOR THE ALLIANCE!
What is the power consumption like? How long would the battery last without being plugged in?
Just to clarify as there’s been a recent influx of comments on this – the MacBook shown is the Intel I5, not the M1 Apple silicon version release in late 2020. However, I do have an M1 MacBook Air video up on the channel right now for anyone interested!
Don't tell this guy what M1 could do.
Is the Wow here running with the new native M1 build or via Rosetta 2?
Quick question do you think I can run this on last years MacBook Pro? And if so what settings should I use?
I play classic wow in my MacBook Pro, BUT I CANT' USE THE ADDON DETAILS AAAAAAAH.
Great video! Are you playing it on OSx or Windows/Bootcamp? Thanks.
I often regret putting down $3400 on the i9 15 inch 2019 Macbook Pro. I haven't even paid it off. :/ Oh and I average 45 FPS with the same settings.
it kept crashing on me at the beginning of the year! I bought the 2019 MacPro just for WoW (I know- I KNOW)
Hi Archivist – have you ever used an EGPU? Do you have have advice for a Mac WoW player wanting to use a EGPU with the 2020 standard 13 inch MacBook Pro? thanks
Can you make a video of this laptop with a external GPU setup. They make cheap kits and very expensive kits. So your options are good for a new video.
great video! waiting for Tiger Lake
Did you found thermal heating issue? Because most people got that issue.
I forgot to ask how it is with an external monitor? I have a 720p TV that renders 1080p and am debating to use with a Brydge dock.
Lol my fans r screamin
I can run at 100fps after watching this video, thank you!XD
How's the heat from the keyboard after a few hours of playing?
wouldn't it be better just to launch windows on the Mac? ISn't it called bootcamp?
A lot of the reasons performance is so much poorer on a Mac has a lot to do with software optimizations for the operating systems. Not actually the computer itself.
Hello, I have a MacBook Pro 2020 i510th gen and i have a curious graphic issue after using the Touch Bar, a green bar appears on the screen. Do you have the same problem? I wonder if my gpu is damaged or is a client game fault. in wow classic I don't have the same problem.
If I went for the i7 processor would that be worth sacrificing for the 1tb SSD?
Can you do this for Warcraft classic please?! Or do you have any experience with it
I would be interested to see how the same 13inch 2020 MacBook Pro top spec performs on WOW with a EGpu Razer core . Has anyone tried this?
Why not use Macs Fan Control? And set a Max temp.
Very informative! Could you do a video on what it's like for raids? And perhaps an update when Shadowlands is released? 🙂
Would like to see more! Do you think you can talk about the general experience in WoW Vanilla? Like questing, leveling, pvp, raiding and walking around major cities
