⚠ NEW MYTHIC VARIANTS will now cost 16000RP cap, requiring a max of 40x pulls of 400RP each and you will find them in the SANCTUM page under the CRAFTING tab. Legendary skins cost 1820RP, while Mythic variants (if you're not lucky) can cost up to 16000RP !!! ⚠

That being said, as a Zed main, thanks for taking the time to break this down. It cemented my decision to not support the gacha system ESPECIALLY when the efforts were so half-hearted.

The analysis is perfect, you made me love the skin because i never noticed some details behind the skin, that point about the smooth animation when the character needs to cast an ability and then rotate to normal position is absolutely fascinating, Riot need to pour some passion in newer champs and skins again, now they are rushing to collect money and nothing more, players are awaking to see this bad practices. I hope we can have some future analysis about WR skins like the Jinx Love Struck and Ekko, they have so many cool details in the model and animations that i can't believe such quality exist.

Look, I hate the 250 dollar price tag on these gacha skins a lot. But you know what I hate more? Basically being scammed by riot into buying a glorified chroma. None of their exalted skins have been anywhere near the quality I would expect of a 250 dollar skin, and they had the NERVE to make this one just a recolor. Shame on Riot. I am never in my life going to get a single one of these skins, and thankfully I don't have to because all my mains are monster champions.
I stopped playing League at the beggining of this year because of some Riot's decisions and the fact that my game wouldn't even open.
The fact that they are releasing A CHROMA for the price of an Exalted Skin (that is already terrible on itself) sounds like satire. I would never believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

The more i watch your videos, the more i notice how much of a broken mess of a game this is… For christ sake league alone makes 2 bilions a year, they could use some of that to find some devs to fix all the missing animations, voice lines missing, vfx breaking, animations breaking…
Like the content the sona is cute love the deltarune/undertale flair, also the way it brings me joy hearing the Pikmin soundtrack in the videos.
But yeah it only seemingly gets worse and worse with riot and their "biggest budget yet" or whatever while they straight up remove chests bringing possible obtainable skins down from 2-4 possible per month from the entire skin catalog with the previous reward systems, down to 1 specific one from the battlepass (quality will probably NOT be better than "alright") a month or longer. Remember guys this is to preserve Riots future theyre only a widdle indie company!

The viego trashtalking is getting out of hand
It costs a ton of money so it is not justifiable imho. But to give them some credit, the color palette and the new helmet does resemble a more predatory sci-fi assassin feel and style. The orange to blueish gradient made to seem glowing on that material of the shurikens and claws is also a great combination with the rest of the model's darkish tone. They also added some animated particles for the shurikens and another animated shining effect on the claws, along with that animated saw-like part to it as well. The recall effects are also a bit different and feel more exaggerated. But still, I don't exactly see how this justifies it being a gacha skin for that price range, I just wanna see some reasoning behind it I guess xd

The sad part of these gacha skins are that they arent even that bad. If these gacha skins were made as legendary skins or chromas instead of being 125-500 dollars with some of the flashy useless stuff removed people would be okay with them or even love them.
How many 3Dmodel parts and meshes does champions and skins usually have if galaxy slayer zeds 17x is alot on normal standards?
this video and really your entire channel capture exactly why its getting hard to play league. I am a huge whale for cosmetics I wont lie, I live to buy cool cosmetics that hold no real value and I loved to cashing in on League skins when I first started playing cause I really appreciated the work and art and unique quirks and charms of them all. I didn't feel like I was being used, because I saw projects like arcane and 2xko coming. This last year though completely changed my outlook on this game. It doesn't feel like theyre trying to reward me for my time and money anymore. The soul is gone is the best way to put it and I hope Riot can find that heart again.

nah, i've been here for 11 years now, every time i see people cope with "it's on PBE it's prone to change for the better after feedback" no brother, 8/10 times it stays like that, then they get backlash, they apologize and deliver a halfbuilt solution, then do it again a few months down the line, you're cooked

I remember when pulsefire riven was released one pbe, a lot of riven players threw a fit about the hair and the sword i think, it was fixed within like a week. Still on the pbe. Now, they just throw a fit if you disagree with their choices.
