  1. Wow, your vision is literally the same as my younger (by 4 years) brother. He has a glass (I believe) prosthesis in one eye and the other eye has 20/400 vision. He was shot in the head two days after his fifth birthday; the bullet went in one side and out the other. He is very fortunate to be alive.

  2. Great explanation of the diffrences with a players' outlook when it comes to gaming.
I have been a WoW player since 09' and I fell into the trap of trying to play it the "Meta" way.
After sometime, I backed away and started playing casually.
And I still play that way, I don't really Raid, just because of the "instense" mindset of the majority of raiding groups.
I still run dungeons and and just as yourself, I have fun, and do my best, if that is not "good enough" then so be it.
I am a "Filthy Casual" player. I play my own way, yes, I click abilities and spell rotation with my mouse, because that is what I am confortable doing.

  3. I stopped raiding after legion because It became less fun than it used to be prior to that where before it was a celebration when we were successful on a hardcore boss fight but in legion we had players coming into our raids that would analyze every statistic in the boss fight and if you didn't meet certain criteria they complained and cried and tried to get you kicked out of the Guild Even though we cleared the content and we got ahead of the curve on every tier of legion, they still cried because somebody else wasn't the most optimal player. I play World of Warcraft have fun, That's to be criticized by some try hard that only cares about how good he looks in his parses

  4. I’m honestly taking my time and really just immersing myself within the world. I’ve started back from the human classic area and have slowly made my way to red ridge. Locking my level to get the most enjoyment out of this experience.

Honestly I love your approach to the game and if you’re in a guild. I’d be more than happy to join and experience this wonderful game with you and like minded individuals!

  5. You got me back into it again by showing me a way to enjoy the game without focusing on FOMO and being the best. I don't have a visual disability but I appreciate these "cheats" because tbh I'm not that great of a gamer despite trying but I love the world itself and the socializing.

  6. OMG, this video is just GREAT! I really wish Blizzard would listen to what you said because they could definitely learn a thing or two from players like you!

Nowadays, WoW feels more like a race—you have to rush forward to be the best rather than just enjoying the game and relaxing. One thing I hate the most is transmog. You literally have to grind just to get the desired look, and to do that, you’re stuck in a loop of constantly upgrading gear, gathering resources, and pushing higher-tier mythics just to farm materials for upgrades.

WoW has become a true second job—one where you not only pay with your time but with your money as well!

  7. yep i play casual i want to do everything i can do and try but i persaonly think all the addon stuff is jsut the most toxic thing in wow and i hate to see people say hey if they take my addons away i wont play like why do you need them you never needed them in the past its not a thing that is needed you learn to grow better i watch guides on encounters then i practice i dont need addons telling me how thats not fun i still enjoy this game but the toxic addons need to go or they need to style them back but hey we all enjoy at own pace you do amazing videos and your the reason i play now wiht your macros so keep it up your doing great glad you enjoy it as most of us do as well

  8. I think this answers the question i have had for a long time now. why i stopped playing the game the way everyone else wanted me too play & why i now play how i want to play. Meaning only participating in casual content i can solo at my own pace with my end game goal of building my collection has much as i am willing.

  9. May I ask which gun your human hunter is carrying? Would love it as transmog for my Dwarf Hunter!

I'm watching a lot of you guides to test out new classes, but I kind off always go back to my old favourites. Still watching these guides even for classes I've been playing for years.

  10. Playing retail in 2025 as anything but a casual is, in my opinion, just the most miserable experience ever. I used to minmax everything in WoW and constantly burned myself out, especially when it came to complaining about Blizzard's terrible decisions. It’s just not worth the frustration for me anymore, especially as I’ve grown older and taken on more responsibilities.

I’m grateful for you and everyone else who creates tools and rotations like GSE or even MaxDPS. They make life so much more enjoyable when playing the game, especially when juggling lots of alts. I don’t want to spend hours looking up guides for characters that’ll become irrelevant in the next balance patch or expansion.

If Blizzard adds new FOMO mechanics, sure, I might play a bit more to get what I can—but if I don’t feel like it, I won’t force myself anymore. I’m done sacrificing fun activities for the grind.

Lately, I’ve started playing new games without looking anything up. I just do my own thing at my own pace and only check a guide if I hit a wall. It’s been a much better experience.
